X-Chock Wheel Stabilizer - Pair - One Handle - 28012

To keep it short and sweet these are a fantastic piece of equipment for all double axle trailers. Increased stability much more rigid and stable parking. I have you used them for a couple seasons and they still look brand new and operate as intended. They're quick easy and fit perfect every time, adjustable as needed.

It was difficult finding a narrow gap wheel stabilizer for our 5th Wheel, that was durable, made in the USA and had a decent warranty. Then I found this set. It adjusts between 1-3/8" to 10". The gap between our wheels is roughly 2.5 inches. They are relatively heavy duty, and includes the ratchet wrench. It only takes a minute or two to install. They fit like a glove between the wheels. These chocks made a huge difference in reducing the felt movement inside the coach. They ended up being just what we were looking for. One added bonus to these chocks. They have a ring around the top that you can put a padlock on which assures they wont walk away when unattended. If I ever need another set, I'll definately come back to this brand.

RV must have!!! I have 2 other cheaper brands, they were all broken after the first or second use. These however... They are more then worth it! They not only block the trailer from rolling they also help to "load" the suspension and helps with movement in the camper. This should come with EVERY camper that has a dual axel! It is plain and simple the only one to get and should be required!

Best thing to use hands down. Frick those blocks or rubber stoppers. These bad boys will stop it from rocking!

I bought my first camper in April 2018 and soon after I came across these. However with all the other first time camper items to buy I put these off for the time being. Besides, I had several different wheel chocks already so safety wasn’t a concern. Then, while getting the camper ready for this years first trip I noticed the camper rocking more with my dogs inside... they are no longer pups! So I decided to give them a try and went ahead and picked them up... and I’m using them on the first outing right this minute. To be honest, I’m not blown away with them... I still notice camper movement but I will admit that it is less than it was without them, so yeah I am happy with them. And I would say that as geeked out as I am about getting stuff for our camper, I would still buy these again. Saying that though, I don’t think they are a necessity, but if you have a little extra money to put towards something for your camper, these are something worthy of spending that money on. As far as using them, our tires are 8.5” apart (at the closest distance between them) and there is still a little more room to open the X-chocks. I will also add that it is nice that they include a little ratcheted wrench to open/close the chocks, however I learned it’s best to adjust them so that they just barely slide in between the tires and then slide them between the tires and tighten them up. When taking them out I think I will loosen them just enough to get them out and then store them that way. Overall, they are easy to use, but it is still an extra something to do when setting up camp but for me, this is not an issue though. I’d still buy them again. 4 stars instead of 5 because they do not remove all movement.

We were out on our first camping trip and set up in a site next door to a camper similar to ours. They had the X-Chock wheel stabilizer system working in their set up. Then i began to see more and more campers using them as well. So, i figured there has to be a worthwhile benefit to these. By that i mean, we're at a decent private campground, all sites have level, poured concrete pads to set your rig on. Leveling is a snap and after your stabilizers are down and set, you're unhooking & unpacking. But wait.. there's something just a tiny bit "unsettled" about the feel of the camper that isn't going away by tightening up the wheel chocks with a mallet. After a couple nights of feeling "the mild sway" while someone is up and milling about in the camper, i deduced i must be missing something in my set up. With out hesitation, i looked at the pic i had taken of my neighbors X-Chocks and took to Amazon to order me a set which i would come to expect to arrive after we'd gotten home from the trip. I was surprised when the alert went off that someone had been recorded leaving a package on the doorstep, so i thought "could this be..possibly??" It could and certainly WAS! My set of X-Chocks arrived early which not only was reassuring, i had time to prepare how i would use them right away straight out of the box! With the camper backed, parked, leveled and stablized in the driveway which is an approx. 8° grade, i installed my X-Chocks and began the evaluation! I went in and sat down and waited for her to return to unload more. Not only did i feel the stability when i stepped into the camper, i noticed the "mild sway" was greatly reduced to almost non-existant when she stepped in and made her way past to the bedroom closets. The results? Thats easy...i was not only pleased with the delivery and the sturdy, light weight feel of the X-Chocks, the notable improvement in stability also gave me the added piece of mind that our outfit was certainly more secure and set to provide us with trip after trip of worry-free rv'ing! My one and only note of caution to first time buyers is be careful when first handling them. Although not needed, i'd recommend using light or medium duty gloves for safety. You'll be bearing down hard for the first several rotations on the bolt and again when positioning the X-Chocks between your tires. However, once your familiar with handling them, all is well!

Didn’t realize I needed these soo much till I started using them. Cuts the back and forth motions with inside movements by like 90+%. They don’t weigh an awful lot. But they do have some hefty to them. Comparability I would say works great as long as the axles are within like 7-8 inches apart or smaller they work great. They fit my flagstaff trailers amazingly and is one of the first things I setup. If I needed some more definitely wouldn’t hesitate to grab another set. Been using them for a few years now and they have held up very well.

Easy to install with an impact drill or the supplied wrench. Keeps wheels chocked. High quality and last for years. I have used these on my camper for years.
