These stopwatches come with all the basic features you’d expect: start/stop, split/lap time, reset, and a clock with date and alarm functions. Operation is straightforward, even for those who aren’t tech-savvy. This is a basic stopwatch with a bunch of extra stuff thrown in that may not be of interest to most folks.The good- it works as a stopwatch. The timer's results are in line with my watch's on long walks. As this is what I wanted it for, I'm going to give it four stars.The complicated- it includes a digital clock function. It defaults to chirping on the hour (this can be turned off, but takes some poking to do). The owners manual looks like it was translated by a machine (or perhaps someone not fluent in English) and not proofread. For example "Push on buttcr [sic] START can adjust fast )," Yes, "button" isn't spelled correctly. Yes, there is a space between "fast" and the closing parenthesis.After a week, it seems to do the job (battery life is unknown), but folks frustrated by extra bells and whistles may want to buy an alternative.

It does what a stopwatch should do and it pretty much as advertised. They are very light, which is nice. Build quality is appropriate for the price. Ultimately I'm returning them because there is no apparent way to turn off the alarm feature. The alarm goes off every day at the set time, and I cannot figure out a way set it so it doesn't go off.

The mini two-page "SPORT WATCH USER MANUAL" provided (the ONLY written document provided -- and it's on a tiny sheet of paper that measures 7cm x 10.5cm, printed on both sides in text only, no diagrams), is utterly confusing, and of no use whatsoever in helping me to figure out how to use the supposed various functions of this stopwatch. For example, there is a little "P" and (after a click on a button) then a little "A" displayed on the stopwatch's screen, and the instructions don't explain what the "P" and the "A" mean. (I can guess that maybe the "A" means "Alarm" (?), but it does not clarify that in these wretched, poorly written instructions. The English (the only language provided) is strange and unnatural (I am a native English speaker); yes, many products do have strange and unnatural English instructions, but the problem here is bigger than that; I am almost always able to figure out how to use products with less than perfectly written English instructions, but this time, I am utterly, completely, confused. After about twenty minutes of reading these instructions on this tiny piece of paper over and over again and again and fiddling with the buttons on the stopwatch, I still cannot understand how to use the functions on this stopwatch. I am utterly frustrated. What a mistake it was for me to pay for this.On the bright side, the stopwatches (there are two) do seem to work; the batteries in them were working when I opened the box about an hour ago, and I expect I will be able to use these two stopwatches for the simple purpose of timing one thing, but, the "USER MANUAL" provided is NOT helpful at all for figuring out how to use all of the supposed other functions. And, hmmm, this could be a problem: there is an alarm (it seems), but since I cannot figure out from the very poorly-written "USER MANUAL" how to set or turn on or off the alarm, should the alarm ever go off, I wonder if I'll be able to control it.If the English instructions were comprehensible, maybe these would be good stopwatches, but with these instructions, it seems that the majority of the supposed functions on this stopwatch will not be usable for me. Utterly, utterly frustrating.
