This item was a great price and great quality and exactly as advertised and that’s very important to me as lately I’ve received other orders that were not as described.

After reading the previous reviews, I was cautious to order this kit. However, when I did actually purchase it, I found that it was pretty fun to create bracelets with. Most of the people complained that the bracelet unraveled when they were finished; however, I found out that if you tape the starting strand and glue the ending strand (with a lot of glue) the bracelet will not fall apart. I also figured out if you need additional tapes, you can use either acetate cake collars (you have to cut them down to size, unless you can find a smaller size, and don't care about the fact that the tape is flexible) or use plastic canvas sheets (you also cut them down to size and you can knot the starting under the strings and glue the ending strands). If you work slowly and methodically, you can create crisp and professional looking bracelets.

This product was decent overall. Unfortunately, with the random letter assortment, it was useless. 0/3 kids could make their name (ranging from 4-6 letters long). There were a ton of Q’s, a single A, no R’s… my daughter was sad she couldn’t make a bracelet with her name.

My step daughter is disabled, but she found this very easy to use! Comes with plenty of thread and the machine itself was easy to assemble. The beads were a bit hard for her to put on the string, but others may like them. It provided her with hours of entertainment! Overall, I highly recommended this bracelet making kit!

The pink, blue, orange, and yellow beads have TINY TINY holes and when you try to do the exact bracelets that are on the front of the box following the macrame shamballa instructions, you can't fit the colors I mentioned beads on the core (2 strands). I finally was able to help her at least put those beads on one of the core cords and route the other core cord behind it, but it was a work around. Even getting those beads on ONE cord was a struggle and we had to turn to youtube to figure out a trick for getting a large cord in a tiny bead hole. I understand that with handicrafts you do have to improvise, but seeing as though this is a child's bracelet kit for 6 years and up, that is just unacceptable. In addition, the instructions give you three types of bracelets to make but don't include the exact directions for the ones on the front of the box because on the front of the box, they have several beads on one bracelet and in the instructions, they just put one shamballa bead on (which have the bigger holes). It was frustrating, but I am giving it at least 3 stars because my daughter is pleased with the outcome and says she overall enjoyed it.

Yes, the packaging is terrible. Plan on opening the package up in a plugged empty bathtub and then sweeping the beads into a Tupperware. Maybe the unicorn case can be repurposed as a jewelry holder? Fun to make bracelets with the beads and string. I ended up putting the beads into the unicorn case with a pair of tweezers which was a good way to ruin a morning and if the kid bumps the case over than it’s a real waste of a morning!

Loved the bead selection in this kit. Brought the box on a camping trip with 6 young adults and we all spent an afternoon making friendship bracelets together!
