Well, this is my first Review of any major product I have used before. I purchased this battery pack to help me keep my phone charged while running around working and playing an Augmented Reality Game. I started playing for a while, but I after 2-3 hours, my battery would go from 100% to around 35%. This wouldn't keep me running for the entire day so I needed another option. I thought about car charging but my vehicle outlet is not working properly and I wouldn't want to risk damaging my phone. One of my friends said "Buy an Anker Battery Pack." He's an engineer, working with electricity, hydraulics, and such... so I definitely trust his advice in these situations. I looked on Anker's website and started looking for Decent size, amount of charge, and price. I'm on a budget so I couldn't just go grab the biggest battery I see or did I want to just grab the cheapest I could find and suffer for it. The PowerCore +10050 was just right in terms of size and battery power. I use an iPhone 6plus and this little powerhouse can get it from 35% to 80% in minutes. I've even left the pack connected to the phone while I continued to use it and it actually was able to charge the battery under load without much issue.Pros:1. Size!! It fits nicely in a cargo pants/short pocket without much issue. otherwise a small purse/hip pack would be just fine.2. Power! They deliver on this big time. it charged my phone many times before I finally plug it into the wall3. Speed!!! I had a cheap little giveaway Battery pack that would take forever to charge my phone but it would only get to 50 - 60% from 30 before it started choking. my PowerCore+ had my phone near 75-80 in the same amount of time and still be pushing more.Cons:1. Cord. Sadly it only comes with a MicroUSB. Which is fine since this it what charges the battery and can be reversed to charge most other phones. Apple Devices require a Lightning connector, I just had to use a spare cord. Not a huge concern.2. No Charger Included. This was Expected in the documentation, but still kinda rough when you need to charge it quick. I personally use my 12w USB Charger for my iPad to charge it. Quick and Easy!All in All, this is definitely something I have suggested to friends, family, and co-workers to look into if they are having battery life issues or are out away from a charging location. Just Remember to bring your Apple Cord!!

I had the same charger (silver), not the premium and I would say the old one is way better than this (both are Anker PowerCore+ 10050).It turly gives you a fast charge (Samsung Galaxy S6 and S8) however, it takes twice the time to be fully charged in compare to the silver version and only charges my phone 1.5 times, whereas, I used to get easily to charges using thr silver version. The only good rhingabout it is the case.Very disappointed with the black premium one. I would highly recommending getting the regular version of it not the premium one.*** Update July 2017Anker contacted me to resolve the issue. It turns out I had a defective item. Anker relpaced the item free of charge and I received the new one within 2 days. Superior customer service. Very satisfied with their quick action. They even kept following up with me after I received the item to ensure it's working properly.Thank you @AnkerDirect. For that I changed it from 2 to 5 stars.

Update (Dropped to 2 stars):My Anker popped a internal fuse or something. I can smell burning silicoln inside it and it is very hot to the touch. Now it's dead. I suppose this is better than the alternative where my nightstand is on fire.. so I'm disappointed that it broke, I've used it very hard so I'm surprised that it broke. I am happy that it has safety features internally to prevent it from blowing up or causing a fire. The unit was hot to the touch, but not to a full burning level.Previous review (5 stars):This charger is awesome. Comes with a really nice case for the battery. Cable is long enough to reach out of my jacket pocket to power my cell while it's in my hand.Best part of this thing is that it can FAST CHARGE a Samsung S7 Edge. Quick charging was a must for me since I want to quickly charge up my phone and then put away the battery pack. This thing kept my Samsung charged throughout the day with heavy WiFi and GPS usage while on vacation in Japan. We had rented a Pocket WiFi (which I highly recommend) and had my phone map us everywhere. Also note it was able to charge up my wife's iPhone as well.

THIS WAS A LIFE SAVER! FAST CHARGE WORKS! We went to Hawaii = lots of picture taking and GPSing. My phone is 2+ years old and does not hold a super long charge. I also take TONS of pics. This thing came in super handy. I like that it is not too big. It does take a while to charge, so I recharged it while we slept. The most important thing I liked about this, is that the fast charge really does work. I was worried it wouldn't. I used the original charging cable that came with my S6, and it charged very quickly. I never had to use it more than 2x a day, but I definitely got at least 2 full charges each day, and it was still at about 30% when I was done. I used to it charge my knock off Go Pro too... I also used in on the air plane because many do not have outlets, and on the way home, the outlet by my seat did not work. Do not hesitate to buy this!

This product was a great size. Often I pat my pocket trying to remember if I have it in there! It's great to have with me, as my battery dies with constant usage (I'm writing this review on date night while out with my patient wife). However, the quick charge heats this up both when recharging my phone and when recharging the battery. Not dangerously, but definitely hot to the touch. To me, it's worth it to have such a fast charge, but you may disagree.The cable is nice, and has a cable organizer, which is great! I got the premium pouch for an extra five dollars. It's up to you, but.. Don't. Within a week of carrying. It was getting bent around the battery shape, and hard to get the battery in and out of. I stopped using it and wouldn't buy it again, waste of money. But if that's the worst from this battery pack I'm still walking away happy!

The build quality is amazing for the price, it's really small and the travel pouch is also magnetic so the battery doesn't go anywhere. The USB cable is long enough, not too short, not too long and it also comes with a cable strap.Awesome product

Amazing product. Good quality build. Charges my device 5 times over on a single charge. Only drawback is the charging time for the power bank is a little lengthy. Aside from that highly recommend
