what is the maximum weight can this scale weigh?

Not too sure about max weight, although I returned this scale since I was using it to count qty for minor inventory (nuts, bolts, screws, etc) and it came out different each time. Hope that helps some.

Anyone have their scale constantly beep at them after start up? one loud constant beeeeeeeeep

We have never experienced that problem. On power up, do the displays count down from 9 to 0? If not, my guess is that you have a board failure in the counter.

Can I use this scale to count festival tickets or 50/50 tickets ?

I suspect that the ticket weight is too light to get an accurate count.
