at exactly 7oz on my kitchen scale
it is weighty.I bought the zenpad as an economy comfort reader, with great resolution for 10.6 oz. The .4 oz handstrap is my favorite for reading in bed as long as I don't foresee the risk of a nodding drop - for that this is the best choice before doubling the weight with one of the military geek complex looking bumper pads. Sound is only so so to start, and the case doesn't do it any favors.

Exactly what I needed!
Fits my ASUS Zenpad 8.0 P01M PERFECTLY! A snug sturdy fit and the magnetic auto wake/sleep closure works and is sturdy! It is a high quality looking and performing case. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!
