Living in Florida, the temperature today was 92 with high humidity when I went out at 8am to do my lawn work. Typically it takes me 40 minutes and I'm hot, sweaty and exhausted (I'm a 70 yr old female). But, today, put the vest in a bowl of ice water, put a sweatband on my forehead, donned my hat and worked outside from 8am to 1pm and stayed relatively cool. Mowed, weed-wacked, edged, pulled weeds, trim bushes and did general outside maintenance for 5 hours in 92-95 heat -- heat index said "feels like 110". The vest is made out of chamois which does the job quite well. I wore a swimsuit with spandex shorts and put the vest over the top. Did redip it a few times in the ice water. I had another vest with the pockets that you put in frozen packs and that was bulky and didn't keep me as cool as this lightweight vest. I would definitely recommend the vest for those who can't handle the summer heat while gardening or even playing sports.

It's nice and cool, but it didn't get rid of the itchy stinging sensation from being hot.It's also uncomfortable to wear, as the velcro rides on your skin, but put a shirt under it and it's just awkward. Your arms will still rub against it, and that's scratchy. You'll feel like 72 degrees in a 100 degree room, though. So the temperature works well. It's light weight, too. No zipper, just velcro.

Material works great. AZ 100°+ weather no problem, just rewet when needed... Sizing fits big and also adjusts and that allows you to cut off sections for better use and fit. Will buy again.

Its main purpose is to cool you off and help you stay cool so far we have only used them in 100 plus temps and the cooling affects last between 15 to 30 mins max after that it starts to heat up and makes you hotter like your a poached egg they can be a bit heavy they had little pockets mine lasted half a day wifes lasted about a week. Its not made for larger people hangs funny like a big baby bib when placed tight the velcro straps on sides are uncomfortable and itchy if they can connect and if they cant it just flaps all over the place and in your way. I was hoping to get lucky with these but rolled snake and eyes all around waste of time and money do yourself a favor and look to a different product

I have some kind of overheating condition and despite that, I do intense dance 4x a week. So I am always teetering on the edge of heat stroke, migraines, etc etc. I have tried EVERY cooling item known to man. I bought this last year but was embarrassed to wear it. This year my conditionis so bad that in desperation I got it out, trimmed it to fit under my dance top, and omg--I'll never be without it! it's like night and day.I still got hot and sweaty but my CORE temperature stayed within tolerable limits. ALSO the strips that I trimmed off I use as wrist wraps which also are fantastic at temperature control! And sometimes on days it's not too hot those are all I need. Do I look slight pudgy with this under my top? Yes I do. I am a busty 60 year old. But actually tbh, less pudgy than i feared! I did rip off the pocket for less bulk. And anyway it's worth it to be able to keep up my dance for mental and physical health. Just note: you do need to rinse it out or it'll get smelly/mildewy!

This product is basically chamois material. It does feel quite cool and helps as I live in the Southwest. The drying starts around the neck and arms so it rubs uncomfortably there with movement.

Extremely impressed! The cooling vest kept me cool for more than an hour in 95 degree heat! When the sun began to dry it, I simply poured water down the front of it and it maintained cooling! Great investment!
