Kaspersky Total Security

Nice product

Ok, so I have been using Kaspersky Total Security for 2 Years now, and I wanted to renew. Previously I renewed from official website which costed about Rs. 800 for 1 Device-1Year, but then I saw that its cheap on Amazon, so decided to buy it from here. Code will be emailed to you within 1 or 2 Hour, for me it took almost 1 hour. Now I was aware that Kaspersky by themselves have stopped selling Total Security because they have new plans called Kaspersky Premium, Plus & Standard, which are new versions, and also available in Amazon, but I didn't want to purchase that and so I purchased this Internet Security. Now interestingly when I put the code in my Kaspersky Total Security App, it recognized the code and said that it will get activated automatically when my previous one expires, but when I put the code in the Kaspersky website, it showed that its a code for Kaspersky Premium. Now, its not really a problem because Kaspersky Premium is actually an upgraded version of Kaspersky Total Security, and also, if you want, then you can keep using this Kaspersky Premium Code in the Kaspersky Total Security App, as it recognizes it without any issue. I just thought that since its a Kaspersky Premium Code, then i should download the Kaspersky Premium App anyways. Overall its a good purchase, to be honest, you can save Rs. 10 by getting the Kaspersky Premium Code instead of buying this Kaspersky Total Security Code as this costs Rs. 459 but that one costs Rs. 449. And BTW, I already told that I have been using Kaspersky Total Security for more than 2 Years now and I gotta say that its a very good Anti Virus for your PC!

I don't know, initially, I felt as if it is an excellent product, but after a few days , it showed red sign. First it say "hooray message" then it asks for continue and as soon as I click on continue, it asks for activation (although already activated) then when I paste the key, it says "your maximum number of devices have crossed", although I am using only a single laptop. The when I open the laptop, it showed black screen (windows desktop was not shown), multiple times it happened, I gave feedback to kaspersky, but no response. Ultimately I uninstalled it and now my laptop is opening normally. So, for me the experience was horrible. These all companies, they breach our privacy, compel us to login take our email id etc, but when it comes to service the "trust deficit" his huge. There is only one way. listen to them, dance to their tune, they will never reply to your query or your problem. and from their side they do unknown things in the background and lock your device do all non-sense things on your device. Worse service, I should say.

Pros: 1.Total security bundled with good options. 2.Software setup consume less space on disk. 3.My Laptop doesn't work slow with this antivirus. Earlier antivirus was making my laptop slow. 4.Worth for price. 5. It's better to register on Kaspersky my support on website and get it checked activation. Also it gives option for installation setup. Cons: 1. Connecting with Kaspersky website takes time. 2. After installation Software was not accepting License Activation code. Gone through Kaspersky general help but didn't work. Later on taken help from customer care. The action suggested by them also not working. Then another solution given by them which made license active. 1. Enable Tracing. Click on the customer support icon in the bottom left corner of the main Kaspersky window – Support Tools - Enable traces. 2. Reproduce the issue. Try to activate Kaspersky, wait for an error to reoccur. 3. Disable Tracing. Click on the customer support icon in the bottom left corner of the main Kaspersky window – Support Tools - Disable traces (stop).
