Krylon High Heat Paint High Heat Beige

Took 2 cans to cover this little wood burner. Was rusted like the inside before I sanded it off and applied the spray paint. Actually it took about a coat and a half; 2 cans total to finish the job. Krylon says to not paint the inside, and since I have not used it yet, I cannot vouch for how heat-resistant the outer and top are. Bought some smaller Dura-Flame logs to try when the nights are cooler here in AZ. Would recommend based off of how easy it was to apply. I read some reviews stating the opposite so I was concerned but that did not stop me from making the purchase. Glad I did!

I really liked the Krylon heat resistant spray paint. It sprayed perfectly with no drips or runs. It dried quickly also. It was a good match for what my inside of the fireplace looked like.

OK. This is weird to write a 5 star review for a product that I ended up trying to undo using it. It's just the wrong color for us. Not white, not brown, just beige, which looked pretty bad in our living room. So I had to buy another heat resistant spray to spray over the beige. I went with a cheaper version. That other spray from another company is so bad in comparison. The paint doesn't have the same nice finish and I even ran out of the paint before finishing the project.

It depends on what your definition of "High Heat" is. I tried it on the steel inside of a wood burning fireplace, and it discolored immediately from cream color to reddish-pink. It is otherwise easy to use, just not resistant to wood fire.

Drippy and runny. I’m not sure if this is because of the heat resistance feature, or if I just got a bad one, but it made a mess.
