Excellent Product and Customer Service
Very solid construction, parts fit snugly together, just feels solid and high quality for the price. At some point, one of the screw caps (over the elevation screws) went missing. Not sure if in shipping or handling on site. Customer service understood and shipped another cap same day as phone call. Very happy with Hartford Building Products response.

Easy install
This was exactly what I needed to replace the old one that was allowing water inside the house. It was a bit longer then needed but I was able to use a circular saw with no problem, just make sure to wear eye protection cause metal will fly at your face when doing it. It looks great and haven’t had any more leaks.

A door threshold installed
I needed to replace a threshold because of water damage. This threshold fulfilled the necessary requirements for a 36 inch door. I utilized a composite based threshold so it would not rot if more water got in. The threshold has an adjustable cap (it adjusts approximately 3/8 of an inch). The door was not quite level of square which created multiple issues but the threshold did the job. I would have liked to screw down the threshold to the sub floor (in the area of the cap) but could not do so without defeating the adjustable feature which I needed. So I used adhesive and hopefully it will hold. It has so far after 3 months. The picture shows the threshold now with a storm door outside of it. Now the water problem should be solved and the threshold looks great.

Disappointed
Had to order this threshold due to a custom door in our house. Unfortunately when we opened the box, which wasn’t damaged, the threshold was damaged. Super disappointed!

Great replacement
This worked beautifully as a replacement for our front door. It was also the only one I could find that would fit my needs as all local options were capped at 5 5/8" deep and I needed something over 6.5". Trimming the length was easy, as was the installation.
