Williams WG-6 6-Inch Set Up Wedge

Every toolbox should have a few. I personally like the smaller ones and then I can just stack them if I need something bigger. Either way they can really get you out of a jam.I personally depend very heavily on reviews that are posted on Amazon, as do many other consumers. I not only read what reviewers say, but look to see what their pictures reveal about a products true quality and description. I aim to not only feature the products I review in many different aspects, analyzing many qualities, I also provide my own opinions on ALL the good AND bad experiences I have with the product I review. I take time to learn and use a product as it was intended before I review it, and I have used this specific product thoroughly.My rating system:5 - Met all my expectations. Works. Holds a good 3in wedgey.

Bought this and another size both excellent quality. A bit pricey but worth it and a lot less hassle buying quality tools that you don't have to send back.......finally learned that lesson.

Seemed expensive for a thin metal wedge especially when you order lots of them at once. But my advice is you cant have too many. They worked great and the more you have the more you can do. I used them to pull off an expensive hub off a bobcat engine. The part had been rusted on the shaft for 35 years. Nothing worked. Tried 6 wedges evenly spaced and evenly tensioned. 4 minutes later it popped off the shaft smoothly and without any damage at all. Saved me a $700 clutch assembly so im happy. Ill be using these instead of jaw pullers again im sure.

I’m a pipe welder and use this thing almost daily! I wouldn’t take double of what it costs for it! It’s a must have for pipe welders or fitters.

I will say there OK wedges the quality is a little poor they pile easy and want stay sharp. There OK for light wight jobs.
