Perfect for my need!
I needed a way to secure my motorcycle chock so it wouldn't move while traveling in my toy hauler. My priority was to not have to drill holes in the floor for a permanent fixture and I required easy removal. I have a chock from Harbor Freight that is unlike any I've ever seen. It has two large eye screws at the end of the front bar and I needed some way to secure it to the D-rings but didn't want to use ratchet straps for fear they might loosen up while bouncing around or just have too much give and play in their use. These load binders are perfect! The D-rings are 45" apart and with the size of my chock the binders were a perfect fit. They appear to be very strong. I have no complaints and I have used them for hauling over 1,600 miles so far and not an issue. They have performed tremendously and have exceeded my expectations. Using two of them with a working load limit of 175 lbs each and the motorcycle sitting on a chock that distributes the weight, I have no concerns about them being able to fulfill the duty as their not always under stress. Especially with a 350 lb Proof Test Load and a 525 lb Min Break Strength. Again, perfect for what I needed.

Good little part, here are the dimensions
I was looking for a small binder to hold a spare tire in the back of my truck to replace a turnbuckle that is annoying to remove. I wasn't able to find the specs for this part but took a chance and ordered it anyway and it worked. Here are the sizes: open length: 7.25" closed length 6.0", between the insides of the two hooks. Overall lengh is about 5/8" longer than that to the outsides of the two hooks. The specs on the amazon page say 2" takeup but that appears to be wrong, I see a 1.25" length difference between open and closed.

It's a good small binder.
It's made of good hardened steel. The hole where you want to put a lock is too small for a regular lock.

Great Seller resent when items where stolen out of package at courier Depo
i have purchased these before and decided to use them for strap down the bike on that back of the ute (pickup for many of our US based readers)Quick, easy no need for painful turnbuckles or straps up front with fork savers.Once your happy with your setup you can mark the chain link to clip into and the next time even faster load time.Drove 600 miles combination of highway and NSW Australian poorly mantained roads and bike didnt budge.use an r clip to lock them in place

none of the surfaces are parallel
Apparently not bent properly, but both are identical so it's not a random problem. No two surfaces are ever parallel, so there's more friction than necessary and that can keep them from locking solidly in place. The hole for a lock or pin is partially blocked by the frame. The rivets are painfully thin. Don't trust your life to this one. It's the right size so I'm keeping it, but I spent some quality time with a bench vise and a hammer to get the plates parallel and then tighten the rivets. Less slop = less chance the rivets will fail.

Better than straps
Looks like it will work well to help secure my motorcycle on the back of our travel trailer. The Binder can be locked if desired.I will be using two of these instead of the typical tiedown strap which one of four wore through on our last 3,000 mile trip. I’ll now use these along with chain & hooks.

These mi i binders are perfect!
I purchased these to use to secure my commercial mowers to my trailer suring transit so i dont have to fight with bulky ratchet straps anymore. I absolutely love them! Small, light, strong, and easy to use and store!!

Quality control issues.
I needed a small, light-weight binder and this mini load binder did what it was supposed to do. I will order more because it is that good. The only issue I had was that there was a manufacturing defect which made the binder slightly crooked (twisted).
