Panasonic Microwave Oven, 1.3 cu. ft. 1100W Countertop Microwave with Genius Sensor Cooking and Auto Defrost - NN-SD67LS (Stainless Steel)

This was an updated version of my previous microwave that I purchased several years ago (which was excellent until the day it died). Works great! Same size as the other. 1100 watts (which I wanted). So easy to use. We're all happy in this household.

I bought this for my elderly father who needed his replacement microwave to be easy to use. This fit the bill. It was one of the few I could find that had a decent amount of power and a dial. All of the others that had a dial were much less powerful.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I like Panasonic products so when a replacement for my old microwave was needed, I stayed with Panasonic. A couple of "quirks": the "beeper" volume is low; the interior light doesn't light up all the inside; the led lights used for the time/clock are very bright especially at night; the turntable "jerked" when it rotated for a couple of days then became steady.

I chose this for the look. I love the knob and buttons. Luckily it doesn’t only look good but it works like a dream. The defrost function is better than on my last microwave. It heats up the food quite quickly and evenly. I was not sure how I felt about the dark interior but now that I have it I don’t mind at all, it doesn’t seem like something so far fetched I like it a lot. This is a definite recommend.

Box was destroyed, packaging was all broken, and product sustained a dent. Seems to work ok. This was the second microwave ordered.The first one’s box was also damaged, and the microwave was not new. It has been returned at least once. Just tipping the box, you could tell everything inside was broken. Plus previous recipient left a note saying the child lock was on, so we couldn’t even open it.

I replaced the 2nd "bad Frigidaire" microwave with this one. Have owned 2 Frigidaire's of the same model and they both failed. Would not shut off when when plugged in, touch pads would not function and revolving plate would not turn. Don't buy a Frigidaire!

My son preferred the "knob" style, as opposed to just push button for cook time set, so we got this version. I don't know if we got a "Bad one" or what but the knob is extremely touchy (sometimes without changing direction of rotation it will start counting downward for instance). IT just seems like bad design. We had the similar model that we purchased years ago and the turn dial/knob was great and predictable. I'll assume the manufacturing costs were lowered and the functionality and reliablity of the knob suffered. Also, setting the clock is a ridiculous amount of effort due to the way the increments work...if you need to change it by hours because power has gone out or it has been unplugged you will have to spin the dial dozens and dozens of times. Do not recommend.

Needed to replace our microwave and searched high and low for one that would fit our above counter location. Found this microwave on Amazon and it was lower in price than other big box retailers. The microwave shipped very quickly and was well packaged to prevent any damage. We are very happy with the features and the interior of the microwave is gray which makes the clean up easier. The clock display, etc. are much larger and brighter than the old microwave - making it easier to read. We highly recommend this microwave oven and the seller.
