Works well and good value
We have already seen 100 degree temperatures in Arizona. I have this in a 30-40ft garage and it worked very well. This thing really moves a lot of water through the pads and the large fan evaporates it and chills the air quickly. I have it about 20 feet from where I do most of the work and the temperature at that distance was down to 79 degrees. It definitely feels cooler the closer you get.As for value, this cooler was much less expensive than the big name competitor. The quality of this unit seems very good and I don't foresee any issues with it's construction.

Great product!
I love the evaporative cooler and Purchased it at a very good price. The only problem I have is that I purchased two units but as to date have only received one. I have been in contact with customer service about this and I am waiting to see if Amazon will ship the other unit. I sure hope so because as I said it is a very good product. Update, I received my second unit. Very happy to have it.

Moves air
The blower moves a lot of air, and the oscillating vents give you a lot a variability. Quick delivery, ahead of time. Haven't seen the hot summer temps yet, but this should cool down the shop greatly in West Texas.

Expected much more at this price point
This cooler definitely did not meet my expectations. When it arrived, the box was very beat up. Once I got it out of the box, there was very little protective packing, and what was there was broken.I immediately noticed problems when I tried to assemble it. Screws were missing and the filter media was damaged and chunks were laying in the water tank area. The unit was out of square, and supports would not stay in place. Closer inspection revealed that the inner support structure was broken. My shop is really hot, and I wanted this to work so I repaired it to the best of my ability and soldiered on.Once I had it together, the unit did function. Just running it in the shop though, provided very little change in temperature but did add noticeable humidity. I tried placing it in a doorway as per the directions, but this made no difference in performance.The unit is totally plastic and not very sturdy. It’s overall feel is very cheap and doesn’t seem like it would be durable long term. I expected much more at this price point. If it had been $75-100, I might have tried to keep it, but in the end I had to return it.I do not recommend this unit.

It works
I got the 3100 CFM model.I use the hose connect/constant flow.I live in AZ. I have it on the back porch.I brings the out door temp down ~ 15 degrees (so 100 to 85) and raises the humidity ~ 15% (so 10% to 25%)Easy to setup, just attach the casters.I have had it abouit 1 month.

Effective in AZ
I live in AZ and this is highly effective although requires good ventilation if used indoor or it will increase the humidity greatly. I have to fill via the front pull down opening rather than the back hose connect. The hose connection started spraying water everywhere a few months after use.

100% Damaged
So disapointed 🙁It came completely broken and in pieces. Im not sure how or why but the fan was bent the fins were all broken parts were broke off and major damage. Would not allow me to upload pics either.
