Best Ethernet Switch!
5/5 Stars: A Game-Changing Gigabit Switch! I'm blown away by the TP-Link 5-port gigabit switch! Setting it up was a breeze - literally 10 seconds flat. The signal strength is rock-solid, and connectivity is flawless. The compact metal design is perfect for tucking away behind my setup! I've connected my Main router to my Tp link Decco through which my Tp link switch which further branches out to my main Google TV (TCL), Apple TV box, and PS5, and everything works seamlessly! Streaming is fluid, and gaming is lag-free. The durability is top-notch, thanks to the all-metal case. If you're looking for a hassle-free, high-performance switch, look no further. TP-Link has nailed it with this one! Highly recommended!

Compact and plug-play device for homelabs
This is simple yet has all the features that are required for a home lab. I am really happy, and it is working without any issues so far. Never seen any packet losses and very compact size. Hope it will be long-lasting, as a metal body naturally supports heat dissipation.

Functional and reliable, basic interface
This switch works great and does everything I need it to do. All 5 ports are functional and the gigabit speeds are solid. Setup was straightforward and it's been reliable since I got it. My only minor complaint is the GUI interface - it's functional but pretty basic looking. Would've been nice if they made it a bit more modern and user-friendly. But honestly, that's just nitpicking since the actual performance is what matters. If you need a reliable gigabit switch that just works, this is a good pick. Don't expect a fancy interface, but expect solid functionality.

my honest review
i was in hurry, thats why forgot to take product pictures, still attached few photos and will try to cover all topics IMPORTANT - when you connect router , you need to know its ip address ,just use app made for switch , you can go to tp link site and download "" easy smart configuration utility"" trust me ,their are other ways too but this one is simplest then, simply login , and do the first think go to ip address setting of switch and turn off dhcp and set static ip of switch , and then delete app ,we dont need anymore, to login just use that ip( like i did, i will also post that ) connectivity - all five port support gigabit speed durability - madeup of metal ,and feels solid , its definitely durable size - very small form factor, i think this is perfect size , because smaller than this will make struggle to manage lan, its heavy enough to remain on flat surface when all port are filled testing - i tested , and this switch always delivered solid performance , i can post photo and video but i dont think its required some doubts 1. managed vs unmanaged i personally feel you should go with managed switch , because managed switch gives full control over each port , and good for future ( like you have 2 connection , then you can combine 2 different connection into 1 ) or you might want one port should have priority 2. is it safe to run 24/7 ?? ofcourse, it designed to run 24/7 , and its not like router in which many hardware use ,in switch most of the work is done by chip and cpu hardly does 1% work, and these chip runs many years 3. expected life since their is not that much in switch , all of the work is habdle by chip , so expect 5+ years lifespan 4. does it heat i have 100 mbps connection, and in my case under heavy stress , switch runs cool pros 1. exceeded my expectations , full of features like vakn, qos,, bandwidth control, strom control, vlan etc 2. solid built , feels very good 3. good and bright led light 4. runs cool 5. value for money cons 1. zero cons this is the first time when i have no cons about any product final conclusion - if you stuck and want to buy a solid performance switch and just want 5 port , then this is for you , dont doubt its performance, its looks small but always deliver solid performance go with managed switch ,it gives you full control over switch just think about number of port you required and and connection limit ,and choose accordingly

Great product if you are looking to share internet connection over ethernet.
Great product if you are looking to share internet connection over ethernet. Initially I was looking for model TLSG105 (Unmanaged switch) but could not find its availability. So went for this model. It is kind of Plug and Play. I just connected an ethernet cable from my internet router to this switch and then connected my laptop, desktop ethernet cables to this switch and it started working without any setup. Remember that you are sharing one ethernet port of your router to 4 devices via this switch so theoretically 1Gbps speed will be divided among 4 devices if all 4 are operating at once.

Very useful for connecting mutilple mesh node using ethernet
I have a mesh system with 3 nodes but i had only one port to connect. Due to this i needs to connect one node always using wireless and speed is limited to 50Mbps due to this. I used this switch and connected all the nodes using ethernet..am am getting 300Mbps everywhere.. super cool. Worth the money...very compact too.
