Update after 3 years: today some internal piece of plastic made a very feint snap sound when grinding the coffee. I've used it daily for 3 years so I guess I got my money's worth. The seller says that they have a lifetime guarentee, and there is no way to contact them for a replacement. I'm guessing they just list the item and bail a year or 2 later after selling a batch. Overall I like the grinders, but I've had 2 look-a-like's in this style by different brands fail after 1-3 years each.Old review below:Remaking my review with 5 star instead of 4. Originally I put 4 because there are many grinders like this one. This one has a lifetime warrenty. I got mine for 9.99 and at the time of this review just before christmas it is listed 7.09. Anything under 10 for this grinder with a lifetime warrenty is perfect and I highly recommend.A few highlights:1. hand grind, no electricity (duh)2. durable crank, have used this one a few months, another for half a year before it broke and the handle is still on the crank so I have a backup.3. It will fit inside the aeropress for packability (bonus if you use aeropress and like to backpack)4. good size in hand, good ergonomic feel to it while holding and grinding (I'm right handed)Possible downsides1. There is a little bit of plastic on the grinding part of the mechanism, though it is a burr grinder so you have ceramic crushing the bean. I had a look-alike of these by another reseller that did not paint theirs black, but they had no warrenty either, it was also $10, after 6-7 months of daily or every other day use, I heard a crack at one point and it wouldn't grind anymore. I took it apart to find some very tiny split in the plastic part that exists on the inside by the ceramic grinder, the plastic holding it in place. That does leave these with a shelf life of probably less than a year of regular use.2. This one has black paint all over it, and I like to tap the bottom into the top part to get all the grounds knocked out and I do see some paint scratching off. I don't mind it but could be a possible drawback to note.3. the handle on the top of the crank is plastic, which also could potentially crack and break off.Even with its downsides and being on my 2nd one of these look alike grinders, I say for $10 or less any of these look alikes are 5/5 for me. It makes goood coffee!!! (I set it to finest grind every time and usually do 1 scoop per 8oz)

The grinders arrived in perfect condition. I really like the black color. I took one of the grinders to work with an assortment of beans. It was easy to figure out and the directions are on the box You could adjust the cut to have the beans just how you liked them. The great thing about this is that you can have a different taste of coffee whenever you want with a variety of beans. My coworkers enjoyed their coup of coffee. I ordered several as Christmas presents What a great gift and great for camping and travel Just love It

I purchased this coffee grinder for our camper. It is perfect, small compact and it does an amazing job grinding the coffee and the aroma of the coffee beans fills the air in the camper. I love a perfect cup of coffee. It is also very easy to clean. I highly recommend this coffee grinder whether your preferred brewing method is pour over, French press, espresso or Turkish.

Didn't work out for me. The plastic spurs just don't have enough bite to grind easily.

Works great, great price. I use it once a week to ground up my fresh roasted beans and have yet to see any problems.

The nylon piece that holds the burr in place broke

This black stainless steel coffee grinder was a hit stocking stuffer! Everyone was pleased and so am I. I didn't know what to expect with it being a small coffee grinder, but it worked well and was easy to clean with the toothbrush kit it came with. Works great and make perfect gifts! Everyone loved them.
