HelinoxChair One XL Lightweight, Portable, Collapsible Camping Chair

This chair is surprisingly sturdy and comfortable. It's wide, and doesn't press into my legs when I'm seated, which is really nice for us curvy women (size 14). The fabric is sewn well, with strong seams. For a larger Helinox, it's still easy to carry through the day, and it's really nice to have a supportive chair to rest in for a while. The seat is wide enough to tuck my legs under me, getting my feet off the ground, which is good if you're worried about any creepy crawlers that might roam past while you're sitting out in the brush. The mesh back lets my shirt stay dry, but does get a little cool in the evening and early morning.I love how easy it is to set up the frame; I just give it a gentle shake, and it almost completely clicks into place for me. The fabric seat does need to be stretched a little to get the last corner placed onto the frame, which might be tricky if you have arthritis. Keep in mind that the frame should last longest when one's weight is balanced properly over it, so I do have to be careful about finding the most level patch of ground out there, which is not always easy. I also bought the rocking feet attachments, but I tend to leave those at home, since they're kind of awkward to carry after a while.It is an expensive camping chair, but I do like how light it is. If you're short and plus-size like me, this might be the right chair for you. I also have a Helinox Swivel chair, and while I love the smaller size/lighter weight of it, I'm always a little self-conscious about how I look sitting in it, and usually decide to travel with the Helinox XL.

I do have Chairs One which fits me perfectly! Decided to order XL for long sitting period! Its much larger than I anticipated! Downside! Kind a hard to adjust your arms! Otherwise great quality and comfortable minuse arms:-)

Lightweight, compact when packed, surprisingly sturdy when set up, fairly easy to set up and take down. Would recommend for most users.

I am a plus sized woman in my 60's. 240 pounds due to medical issues. I need a chair that I can sling on my shoulder in a bag to take with me to Scottish festivals. I ordered 4 different chairs to compare. This one is by far the best. Yes, it is a bit more expensive, but completely worth it. It is wide, comfortable, sturdy, and I can get up out of it easily. All of the others were not. You will not regret getting this.

I was skeptical on whether this chair would hold my weight or not. I know it says 320lbs and I'm sitting at 6' 2" 360lbs so it was a gamble but, it holds my weight well. I purchased this for backpacking so I could stop sitting in the dirt and sand all the time and it has worked well so far. I'm sure my added weight will cause it to fail sooner but, so far, so good. Chair is comfortable and sits high enough that I don't feel like I'm sitting on the ground.

5’10” 190 and it’s a better fit than the regular size which we have. Both equally great, light, engineered well, but a bit costly. I can’t compare it to a lesser priced knockoff as I haven’t sat in one.

I’m a bigger person but still wanted to luxury of owning a compact chair. I first got the sunset which with my height (5ft 4) it felt too tall and like it was pinching my legs. I decided to go with the chair one xl. It’s super comfy and wider than the other chairs. My only complaint is that they don’t offer the seat covers for this chair for the colder days.

Im not sure if it was my chair only but this chair is very tough to put together. The poles are easy to assemble, its when we have to put the seat on the frame. I have the smaller version of this one and its not that difficult. Test first to make sure.

I was very happy with this purchase on a recent camping trip. I am bigger with a lot of hips and knowing that I had a chair that was not going to class on me when we got back to camp after a day of hiking made a huge difference in being comfortable out in the back country. The chair set up beautifully, it’s very sturdy, wider and bigger than my camping partners chairs. And at first they made fun of the price because there’s were under $50, howeverOne of theirs didn’t even survive the trip. I’m too old to sit on the ground and camping to me doesn’t mean suffering, so backpacking the 4 pounds of this was worth it

Yes it is pricey but well worth the money.before this I would regularly break chairs 😂

... hatte mich so auf den xl gefreut und war bitter enttäuscht - einfach unbequem, man rutscht nach vorne und sitzt wie ein Sack ( bin 100 kg / 193 cm groß)over hyped!!
