I bought this bag in green. It is a florescent green, much brighter than I wanted. But it is different and so much better than a basic black bag. It also has a slight "pearlized" finish which I don't like but hope it will dull a bit along with the color. It is sturdy, and I actually like its stiffness because it doesn't flop over when you set it down. It is the exact same size as my standard issued Dell laptop bag that came with my work laptop. It has plenty of room. I don't think I'll lose anything in there unless it's small, but that would happen in any bag. It will fit my laptop, laptop charger, Blackberry and charger, personal cellphone and charger, VPN card, work badge, a few pens, a file or two, some personal items like chapstick, bandaids, small hairbrush, and a granola bar. I don't know about fitting a bottle of water or an umbrella in there - it would be a tight fit.Overall I really like the bag but I wish I got the maroon color but my husband likes it and he has way better taste than I do. I am in my early 30's and wanted something different and I couldn't find anything in luggage stores or the big bix Office stores. All the bags looked masculine and only came in black. Hopefully this bag won't look so shocking if I tone it down with more nuetral clothes.

I hate to complain about this bag. I wanted so much to love it. It really is a beautiful bag but it's usefulness was really questionable. First, I have to agree with some other reviewers about how tight spaced it is inside. The outside pocket is really just not useful, you can barely fit anything of consequence in there. The main compartments are the same .... it's lovely to look at but thinking about using it on a daily basis and reaching in and out of this thing and what stuff I will be needing to take here and there...I could tell this would not work and I"'m not even necessarily hauling a laptop back and forth all the time....it just seemed very limited in space. But...aside from the space issue....I was even willing to overcome those things because of how absolutely professional and lovely this bag was.....HOWEVER.....I remembered reading from another reviewer about the handle coming loose so I took a close look at where the handles were attached to the body of the case and, without pulling down on the handles...just letting them fall to the sides, I could already tell they were glued on, not sewn...and.....they were already appearing to become unglued. I could tell that if I really wanted to pull down on the handle, I could probably easily pull it off. Then, thinking about carrying this case with a possible laptop or whatever I might have that would put strain/weight on the handles....I could easily see them detaching from the case. With that being said...I made arrangements to return it. Such a shame because it is such a beautiful case. but I'm not buying it to put it on a shelf, so it's going back.

Normally, I wouldn't speak about myself in the third person, but I feel that I must today. Mama loves her new bag. Mama loves how her 13" wide laptop fits perfect in the removable pouch. Mama likes how it stands up on its own. Mama likes how it fits under her arm when she wears the strap. Mama loves all the additional compartments, pockets, and dividers. She even likes all the pencil/pen holders and key chain holder. The leather was perfect and the interior very classy. Mama likes to bring this to get her tire changed yesterday and whenever she is needing to work on her latest project. Mama likes looking at on the floor next to her desk, in her closet, or on the kitchen table. She had problems with other products who boasted this and that, well, this one actually delivered on this and that. Mama very satisfied for the second home for her second husband. (Her laptop's first home is on Mama's lap.) Worth every penny.

I was hesitant to purchase this briefcase because I was worried that it was a little out of style based on the photos and I was worried based on a couple of other reviews that it might be to heavy. I finally decided to take a chance and I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. The first day into work, I received compliments. I like that it is slimmer and not too bulky. I teach and some days all I carry are folders and on other days I carry my iPad or laptop. This briefcase is versatile enough to satisfy those requirements. On days that I don't carry a laptop, I pull out the protective sleeve to allow for more folders. Glad I made this purchase.

People - the "blue" is not the gorgeous pale baby blue in the picture. I love this purse and have it in black - but be forewarned "blue" is actually a saturated teal - closer to the "reg blue" picture but even somewhat darker. So if that's what you want go get it - based on my older black one it's very well made, on the heavy side but gorgeous. But I had to return this thing and am so disappointed!

While this is a nice looking briefcase it is not very functional. As a previous reviewer noted it is a tight fit. A small laptop or pad and one thin file folder along with a standard steno pad takes up all the space, and that's with removing the 'padded insert'. Yes, the front area does allow for a few pens and/or small accessories. But for someone on the go that needs to carry a few documents or files and a back-up power cord I would not recommend this particular bag. Samsonite carries some nice and more functional briefcases.

I love the color, get lots of compliments but it does not hold a great deal. The leather is a bit stiff so it is hard to get items in. I normally have to keep the sides unzipped and constantly have people telling me it is open. You can fit files and a few other items, but my makeup case and eyeglasses get jammed in.

Yes, I read the reviews that said it was heavy. This is actually quite a heavy bag. It looks very good for interviews, but there is not much space in it, and it weighs quite a bit. I will still use it to go to interviews, but I wish it were a bit lighter. I would like the center pocket to be removable, but it is not.

Perfect fit, love it. Not same quality as other of the same brand though. Bought one at 500$ last summer and the leather is of course more resistant. But i like it, not not heavy, classy.

Beautifully made product with high quality material. Better than expected!
