I wrote a review because I saw the last person's review and I have been using Barska biometric safes for years without issue. The previous reviewer states that it will let any fingerprint open the safe. The documentation clearly states that this is the case when NO fingerprints are saved. The process of recording fingerprints is easy, but you need to do it as instructed. My wife and I have several fingerprints stored and it works great. I always test with my adult children and they are not able to open it with any fingerprint. These safes are great and the biometrics are very reliable.

Fingerprint reader would allow ANY finger print, from any individual, to unlock the safe and would not read prints that actually needed to be stored... multiple resets were attempted. Set the safe back.

Other than that so far so good
