Our upcoming 7th grader typically completes a Brain Quest workbook during summer months. This time, we chose to get her these "smart cards". She's been enjoying learning and probably more so, quizzing her older sister as well as us parents! We do not even have to ask her to spend time on these since she'll pick them up on her own. I like the fact that she's doing this without electronics. =)

Was not as much fun to use on our recent road trip as the book of riddles or the chat pack questions. The questions themselves in brain quest are fine, it's just that the individual card format of the chat packs was preferred by the kids and the riddle book was the flat out homerun in terms of holding their interest. Still, vastly better than everyone zoning out in front of a video or worse yet, off in their own little iPod world. Brain Quest does keep everyone talking and for that, I do like it.

This was a need because I have been teaching my son all the essentials that he would need, in order to help him during this virtual transition & to have him prepared for the return to in person learning. I needed to have something that was fun for him, that give him a visual and helped up grasp a better understanding of the common core material he was being taught.. He loves it and this has helped me further advance him more so than if I never added this to his education. I now can also use this to transition to grade 7 and this can give him a lot of structure & preparation during the summer leading to the next great. This is to help him be ahead of other 7th grade students.

Great option to have kids (and husband) occupied.
