Dog Bathing Tether with Suction Cup for Pet Shower and Grooming

My pit always tries to jump out of the tub and this is just what I needed to stop that. Make sure you push the suction cup on the surface to get a good seal.

Easily stuck to the shower wall, easy to put around the dog's neck. It is a slip leash, which means when the dog pulls against it, it will tighten to keep them from slipping out. So when it comes to taking it off the dog, it can be a little difficult to because they want to pull away at the same time you're trying to take it off them. Still, very useful and does not harm the pups.

We usually take our 70lb dog to a place where you can bathe your own dog. But when our girl needed bi-weekly medicated baths to calm down an allergic reaction, we decided that doing it at home would be easier and cheaper. We bought this to try to keep her in the tub, and I admit that we were skeptical. But it worked great! She didn't pull on it very hard, so I'm not sure how it would work for dogs that do pull. But it kept her in place, making life easier.

This product was amazing for my dog with IVDD. He had surgery a few months ago and is still regaining his strength. He cannot hold his hind end up just yet. I adjusted the straps just enough to keep him from falling down. This product keeps him safe and provides him with hind end support so I do not need to hold him while I bathe him. He weighs 9-10 lbs. the suction seems pretty strong however it did come off once while I was preparing the bath, but no issues during bath.

I’m a professional dog groomer, but I got this for my personal pup and any dogs I groom from home. The suction cup is pretty good. I don’t think it would hold for a large dog that jumps around and pulls hard during a bath though. But at the end of the day it’s a suction cup and not a secure mount, so you can’t expect it to withstand big difficult dogs. My only complaint with this product is the noose itself. It tighten/loosens like a bra strap slide. It just seems like it will get tangled after a few months. But Amazon sells a lot of good ones that will attach to this suction cup just fine. This isn’t a bad starter noose, I just wouldn’t expect it to last through heavy use. Overall I’m very please for the price and what I need it for.

I’m a house call dog groomer, and I had lost my original suction cup with a tether, so I got this one because it seemed to have good reviews. I used it once, and it kept unsuctioning! I threw it away. It was such a waste of my money, time, and patience. And I’m a patient person, I have to be to work with moving animals who have minds of their own! Lol. But this was just not up to the task of holding a 10lb mini poodle…. Which is sad to be honest. And it doesn’t even stay suctioned to the wall

Works great for my 60+lbs Belgian Sheps. Needed to replace the ring on the suction cup but it holds true. Worth getting if you have a puppy that likes to give you a bath when you bathe them. Keeps them held firmly in the tub.
