Oh my god, I can't recommend this sewing scissor set enough! They are so dang sharp and lovely 😍. If you are in need of a good set of scissors to cut out your fabric, THESE ARE THE ANSWER. I ordered them for the price and mainly the large scissors, but the small copper fancy handled pair is my new favorite small pair or sewing scissors. They are equally as sharp as the big ones. NOTE: Please be careful, these aren't your average, crappy, kind of sharp joanns scissors, the big ones come sharpened and oiled like a new sword. Fabric cuts cleanly when gently pulled against just one of the blades. THESE COULD CUT FINGERS TO THE BONE, I havent done it to myself yet, but PLEASE be aware. NOT FOR KIDS AT ALL! That being said, the dullest ones are the tiny bird shaped ones, but they are still better that craft store tiny scissors. Haven't used the bead scissors yet bc I haven't had the nerve to fool around with beading yet. Hope this helps my fellow seamstresses!

I used to sew quite a bit but hadn't done much in quite awhile. When my future fiancee moved in, she didn't know that I had specific sewing scissors and proceeded to use mine for some other craft projects. As I wasn't sewing much at the time, it didn't bother me too much, but I eventually picked up the bug to start sewing again and decided I needed some new scissors. After much searching, I came across this set and it seemed a great value. It was nice that it came with 3 different snip scissors for cutting threads and such. I will say though that the scissors shaped like a crane are completely unusable for someone like me with thick fingers. My Fiancee makes good use of them though, so all is well. The main scissors are well made and feel perfect in my hand. The grip actually has a mild rubberized coating that makes holding them easier and more comfortable. The action is smooth and they cut like a dream. Easily as good as other scissors I've handled that cost 3 times as much.

Bought this set of scissors and seam rippers and wow, they are Sharp, Sharp Sharp. They are great size. Their perfect for seam ripping, cutting buttons off, cutting material. All around, a great buy !!!! Also, I'm right handed, but my daughter is left handed and they are comfortable to hold and easy to use for BOTH Left or Right hands !! I absolutely, definitely recommend!!

I bought this set for my wife's birthday in October and waited to submit a review for a few months incase something broke or started rusting. But after several uses, there have been no issues. First things first, every single pair of scissors came soaked in oil. While messy, it is pleasing as there's little chance of them rusting while sitting on a warehouse shelf or during transit. Secondly, they are all sharp. I'm weary of buying sets like this because I've been burned on tools and blades before, but these came nice and sharp. Third, they're well made. I thought the crane shaped scissors where a bit of a gimmick and was really wanting the huge fabric shears and the smaller clippers. I figured if those two were solid then it wasn't money wasted and we'd have a couple extra pairs of scissors for the kids to use. But I was pleasantly surprised that all 4 pairs are well made. The shears are nice and heavy, but the large finger loop is a bit narrow, so if you have large hands, then they might be a bit uncomfortable. Other then that one complaint, they're worth it.

Bought these on a Prime Day. I really only needed the large tailors’ scissors, but the price was so good, the assortment was even better. I have used all of them, and I especially like the weight and sturdiness of the tailors shears, but the little snips are surprisingly useful. I probably would never have thought to buy them, but now I would never want to part with them. The small sewing and embroidery scissors remind me of my grandmothers—both of them. I can still remember their sewing baskets. The quality of the smaller scissors is OK. They are not the highest grade of steal, but they work well, and what a great buy!

I bought these primarily for the large shears, but I love all of these. The shears are longer than most scissors, which makes cutting fabric faster and they cut through all kinds of material incredibly well. The small ones are nice and sharp and I've split them into different sewing kits (the U-shaped ones are in a little vinyl pouch thing so have been great to take on road-trips.

These are nice, large scissors that are light and easy to use. They are not heavy Fiscars, but the price is right and as a second pair of scissors they are great. The small scissors are cute and useful for hand work, ie cutting thread, but not for ripping out seams. All of these are just fine to keep at our lake house when we spend time there; so I do not have to carry my good scissors back and forth.

Like them watching my daughter using them doing her dressmaking..I also like the small ones to cut my toenails asked my daughter to cut them but she refused point blank.its no fair.

Although the box contents are fine, the box has the inscription " The best gift for love" which is wholly inappropriate for my sewing friend. I have to return them unfortunately.
