Better than the Polaris K-13 Bag
I have the Polaris 280 pool sweep and have always bought the K-13 or equivalent Polaris bag replacements. They always fall apart sooner than I would like, and need to be replaced. I received these Mega Bags a few days ago and they are larger, work well, are less expensive and material-wise seem like they are better built and will last longer than the bags manufactured and sold by Polaris. If I find they do last longer, as I expect, I will be buying these replacement bags in the future instead of the Polaris bags. One of the characteristics I have noted about the Mega Bag is that the oval lock-in clips are stiffer than those on the Polaris. Therefore I find I need to twist and work a bit harder to detach it from the pump housing when I want to remove and clean the bag. When I first attempted to release it and had to work harder than with the Polaris bag, I was afraid it would not detach -- but it does. It has a zipper opening/closure for emptying which I like better than the Velcro that comes on some of the Polaris bags I have used

Great Bag but hard to get off
I really like that these bags hold more than the high dollar Polaris bags But they are really hard to get off and on. Does not get easier with use. Called the seller he told me to use a screw driver to twist it off but that start to destroy the polaris part. So now i just pull it out and empty into a wastebasket.

Great so Far!
The bags work well. The bag goes on easy and comes off properly. Not difficult to get off at all, yet it stays in place really well. To remove bag from Polaris, I simply grab the base completely around and with a slight twist and pull it comes off. Note that no matter what bag a person uses, the chemicals in the pool will cause the materials to wear out. I am happy with the bags so far and time will tell how it holds up. These bags seem to be of good quality and compared to the price of the OEM bags, these are a much better price!

A gr8 value and well designed
This pair of filter bags cost about 1/3 less than the local discount pool supply and appear made of a sturdier mesh. Best of all the bag closes with a zipper rather than the Velcro type strip. It is a pain to close the Velcro bag opening with all sorts of pool debris sticking to it. Remember to save the hose clip from your existing bag since these bags do not come with one. Instead a Velcro wrap is provided to attach the clip to the bag and in a pinch it can be used to replace it. From my experience, the weakest point on the Polaris bag is the stitching of the Velcro and bag itself which deteriorates in less than a season. These Mega bags appear to be double stitched throughout with reinforcement tape at the seams. We'll see how they hold up and update.

Update to my review previously submitted
Initially, this bag looked very well made. After using for a few weeks, I noticed several times that the bag came off the Polaris and wasted electricity and picked up nothing. Upon closer inspection, I realized that the way the lock tabs was formed in the mold, there wasn’t enough spring to keep it in place as they were tilted inward too far. I used my heat gun to soften them slightly and bend them outward a little. That did the trick and now it stays in place. This is a design problem. Other than this, the bag itself is very well made.

Nothing is prefect but it can be
Before ordering this product I read were most of the reviewers reported hard to unsnap the bags (Collar) off the Polaris. This is very true but I came up with a simple solution.(No screwdrivers required) If you noted there is Velcro (blue and white striped band) on the bag itself around the "neck" of the collar that snaps on to the Polaris. Go ahead and snap the collar onto your Polaris then undo the Velcro, once you loosen the Velcro then carefully pull (may have to do some prying) the bag off the "neck" of the collar. This part of the bag is lightly "glued" so be gentle as you undo the glued part of the bag from the neck of the collar, if not you will tear the bag at the seam just above the Velcro. Once you have undid the glued part of the bag you can simply remove the bag from the collar by undoing the Velcro from the neck and the whole bag can be removed from the collar each time you need or want to remove the bag from the Polaris and still leaving the collar attached to the Polaris. (saving lots of time, never needing a screwdriver for prying or never becoming frustrated with the collar) I bought the two for one low priced bags (both with the collars) and was able to remove both bags from each of their collars by leaving one of the collars permanently attached to the Polaris. I undo the Velcro each time one bag gets full and place the other bag on to the same collar as to allowing the full bag to dry first which makes it much easier to dump the trash out once the full bag is dry. I been doing this for the past few weeks now and it's a zip and take less than 10 seconds to switch bags as I never have to pry off or take off the collar from the Polaris. I think you will like my idea even better than if you were to buy the Polaris brand bags in the long run. I know I am. Remember if there is away there is a will! Now back to my grilling, with the NARCAR races on our outside tv with all the fun at the poolside as my Polaris does all the pool clean and my new larger bags are as easy as zip off and zip on with their Velcro strip! Y'all have a nice day and I'll have a mix drink for you.

Good replacement bag - but Very hard to remove
Works well, no real complaints, was a bit tight in the winter to remove, requires a solid twist.update 2/27/2016 - I have had to downgrade my review to 2 stars, although the bag works well it is virtually impossible to get off my Polaris 280, this Polaris does not have holes in side so you can not push the tabs in, you have to try and twist it off, I have tried many times to get this off and failed. Now the bag is well worn, has holes in it and so I have to replace it. I will buy a genuine Polaris bag, when it arrives it looks like I will have to cut the bag off to gain access to the tabs from the inside then use a screwdriver to pry it off. This really worries me because there is the danger of breaking the very expensive Polaris pool cleaner in the process

zipper bags
the price is good for 2 bags. fit extra tight in my Polaris. actually can't get it released. have to take my whole Polaris to the edge of the pool to empty the bag. the bag does what it says. it holds more and actually holds the debris better than the orginal bag.
