Gone Is the Gray
This product covers the gray well and last for days. It has no smell or sticky feel to it. I have brown hair, so I use the light brown color. which is slightly darker than my hair. However, its the grey that I don't want. When you spray your hair, do wear gloves so that your fingernails do not get stained because the spray really discolors the nails.

3 great uses!
I know what you’re thinking… “it’s basically spray paint! I’m not spray painting my head!!”. I hear you, and I too, thought the same. Do you remember the commercial of the bald guy using a product that looked similar to this to cover up his shiny head and then smiling like he tricked the whole world? Me too. This is not that product. This is something that you need in your life. It’s called ‘Gray Away’ and is obviously intended to cover gray in between your hair appointments and it does that perfectly. But wait! There’s more! You can also use this when you’re not trying to cover gray and you just want your hair to look a little thicker. I have straight dark brown hair that’s pretty heavily highlighted and I like to use it on my part for 3 reasons. 1) it will cover gray if you need it too, 2) it makes your hair look a little thicker at the part, and 3) I just really like the ‘slightly grown-out’ look with darker roots. I get the “light brown”, and it’s pretty dark. I hold it about 5 or 6 inches and just do a few quick little bursts of spray (using very little). One bit of advice, make sure you’re in a well-lit area so you can really see what you’re doing. It might take a little bit of practice at first but it’s easy to use and looks very realistic, not like the dude from the commercial at all!! I would recommend putting a towel over your shirt just to be safe in case it oversprays. I’ve used this product for years and have recommended it to several friends who also love it. The end.

Time saver and great overall product compared to the other brands out there!
This is THE best of the best out there! What a time saver!! I've tried all of the other brands (when this one was sold out for months in my local BBB). The other brands do not wash out well; get on your hands when you put your fingers thru your hair (after it's dried); and has the tendency to get on your bedding and more. (That is, if you don't wash your hair everyday). This brand right here is fantastic! I've turned so many of my friends on to it! It applies great via the special spray tube, and the coverage lasts! When I wash my hair, it washes out. When you blow-dry and then apply, wait until it's dry (less than a minute) before doing anything else. I usually blowdry my hair, apply it, and then blow-dry it dry (but you don't need to, really) and then add additional product to my hair, as well as brush or comb.I end up using it the week before my upcoming hair appt (vs spending any time 'doing my roots' with any other, and time consuming product).I also make sure it's washed out before my color appts to ensure the color process 'takes' at my appt. This is just THE best. ;)

My Favorite Root Concealer!
This is a great in-between-root-touchups gray hair camouflage! I've used most of the other brands of similar sprays but I keep coming back to Gray Away because it seems to adhere to the hair follicle better than the others and dries much faster.I've used sprays, sticks and powders for root coverage and I prefer spray for it's ease of use and how quickly I can apply it.With this, you can use it, pop your sunglasses on, go out the door and 15min later when you get to your destination, slide your sunglasses up to the top of your head to rest until you need them again Without the fear of it getting on your sunglasses! I can testify that other sprays won't dry quick enough (if at all, some stay kind of gummy all day!) and all of a sudden, you notice in the mirror that your face around your nose area is all dirty! It's transfer from the spray! You won't have that with this!I used to color my hair a very dark brunette and the Dark brown color worked well. When I decided to go a medium brown with auburn undertones, the light brown worked much better & looked more natural.A tip: Style your hair however you normally do before using this. It can come off onto heat styling tools so save this for last! I've found that using it only on my part area and a little around the hairline (using my other hand to mask my face) makes a can last me for about a month, if not longer. For reference, my hair is shoulder length and fine. Going lightly over my part also gives the look of having fuller hair too, an added bonus!I've found much better pricing on Amazon than in the store so it was a great purchase for me!I hope this review has helped you feel more confident in your purchase if you were on the fence about purchasing :)

Root concealers
I can’t seem to find this product anymore but I really liked it and it was easy to use and covered the little gray I have.

Great coverage in control, just let it dry fully before putting anything on your head
Update: pictures added, 1st shows full gray, 2nd is touched up with Gray Away Light Brown, and 3rd, touched up after sweaty hike.It turns out, the transfer is really only an issue when the spray is still damp. Once it's dried, glasses on head moved to face do not transfer color.I do really like the coverage of this and find the spray easy to get where I needed to go to cover my grays. Will buy more :-).....................original review:The coverage is good, but there's one major flaw, if you tend to wear your glasses on your head when not in use, the color transfers from your glasses to your face when you put them on :-(I wish I could return it but I threw away the packagingWill give it one more try, perhaps I didn't let it dry long enough...
