Enormous bang for tiny bucks
I bought this guitar for urban busking because I didn't want to subject one of my nicer guitars to the associated risks and wear. It turned out to be perfect for the job. I'd wanted a blue guitar ever since I read the creepy poem "Man With the Blue Guitar" by Wallace Stevens. Here's an excerpt:They said, 'You have a blue guitar,You do not play things as they are.'The man replied, 'Things as they areAre changed upon the blue guitar.'The Jameson guitar that arrived was larger than I expected, with a full dreadnought-size footprint despite its very thin body depth of around 3 inches. And it was extremely blue, a rich ultramarine hue that also exceeded my expectations. It played mostly okay straight out of the box, tho I had to file down a few high spots on the higher frets to stop it from fretting out when bending; this issue was too serious to leave untreated, as some notes choked out completely when bent, but it took only about half and hour with the sandpaper to have all my bent notes ringing out perfectly. Also, the high E string had a tendency to slip off the fretboard if strummed too vigorously, solved by filing that slot on the plastic nut a tiny bit deeper. And with those adjustments, I was street legal and ready to assault the block. The intonation was surprisingly accurate, the neck stayed in tune pretty well, and the thinline body made it lighter and more comfortable to play than most dreadnought-size guitars. It had a weak, bland amplified tone, which I eventually corrected by connecting a $20 Behrenger tube overdrive pedal with drive level turned way down and output level cranked. After that, I played the daylights out of that guitar for several years without further complaints, logging 100 hours or more a month of street performance for most of that time. It held up like a trooper and is still gorgeously blue.Other than my initial problems with the cheapo frets and nut, this is a tremendous amount of guitar for under $100. Don't pay more than that and be prepared for some cheap-guitar hiccups, but within those parameters, it's a great instrument for what it is.And yes, on occasion, mine has even been known to change the way things are. That’s why I bought a blue guitar.

Big Bang for Small Bucks!
Now this is what I call a Great Guitar for anyone wanting to teach themselves how to play an ELECTRIC/ACOUSTIC under $100 out the door! The Case sucks and only protects against spills and dust, not dings from accidentally banging it up against objects and coffee tables. I spent an extra $25 for a semi-decent soft case with a 1/4” of padding. Good enough for me.I purchased the Brownish Orange one and it is beautifully made with love. After the strings stretch a bit, it stays tuned and no buzzing to date and everything seems to work. I am very impressed actually. The only suggestion I have at this time for the Manufacturer would be to take an extra few minutes and file the fret ends just a tad bit better, but other than the case and the nit on the fret ends, nothing would stop me from purchasing another for a grandchild who may show interest. Nice enough tone and volume which helps inspire new students to continue on their Quest of becoming an inspiration for others! Great job Jameson!

My 5 Star Review and Why
First of all this review is for the product only and does not rate Amazon's service or delivery speed or packaging related issues. As a guitar player for 38 years I will go over the most important things a professional would be looking into that collectively make up the guitar's quality.Starting with the obviously cheap price in which this guitar gives a rather large bang for the buck and why. For $87.00 plus tax you not only get a great sounding acoustic/electric guitar, you'll be provided with a 1/4" male to male guitar cable, a strap, an extra set of strings, truss rod wrench, and some guitar picks. The 9V battery for guitar's preamp/EQ is also included and a gig bag to protect the cosmetics and paint job. The intonation is dialed in pretty accurately and the action and relief make it easy to fret without fret rattles. This is also a great guitar to modify. Tuners would be the first thing I would soup up because they are typical stock tuners and I prefer something with an 18:1 turn ratio for fine tuning. A bone end nut and saddle would be next and finally I would change out the preamp/EQ for some Fishman gear. The guitar is pretty light and thin and wouldn't be hard to crush so that's something to beware of. For $87 it would at least still be good fire wood and buying a replacement is super cheap. I've only had mine for a day so it's hardly long enough to do this review justice but if anything breaks I will update anything that needs to be. But I think any guitar player looking for a good quality super cheap guitar, I'd say this is the one to get without a doubt. There are some other brands like Ashthorpe that I haven't tried yet but maybe some day.
