I tried loading pictures but it wouldn't load. So I'm going to describe the problem. I haven't had this recipe box that long. the ones I have had in the past never cracked, adn they were well used and many years old. Why this one cracked, I am not sure, except that it was really BAD. The crack on the lid, was all the way through the wood, to the underside of the lid, cracked from end to end. The bottom of the recipe box had the same issue -- all the way from the front to the back, and through the full layer of wood on the bottom. Wish I could show pictures. But this is a mistake -- this is not a good recipe box, and you'd best look for something else. I send the first one I received back becaue of a crack that was just starting. This one has obviously developed while sitting on the shelf in the kitchen. it's not near a heated area, or anywhere where it would be affected very much by temperatures. This is just not finished properly obviously -- or it wouldn't be coming apart like this. I'd like to return it if possible and get my money back. I tried reducing the size of the pictures and they still won't load -- makes you wonder why....

I am a tour guide in an art museum, and I use these cards to remind me of important points to bring up or ask guests about during tours. I use cards because tours often feature different works of art, so I can mix and match them. This box looks great on my desk, it has alphabetical sections in it so I can file cards and then find them when I need them, it is quite sturdy and attractive. Definitely better than some plastic box!

This is a nice bamboo storage box. I am using it to store 4x6 scripture cards and other decorative items I’m using in journaling or card making. It’s a good size with bamboo wooden dividers and comes with index tabs. I’ll probably use the tabs to categorize the cards. They are study card stock lightly laminated, A-Z in shades of green. The box is larger than other recipe boxes which was a big factor in my choosing it. the hinged lid is good too.

I love this thing. My old recipe box was overflowing and I needed something larger. This fit the bill perfeclty. I moved everything over and I couldn't be happier.

A pleasure to look at and a pleasure to handle. The bamboo is substantial and shows a pretty grain on the lid. Nice hinges. I use it for storing packets of seeds.

This is really a beautiful office piece. We got the 4x6 one and it is perfect. We do most things on the computer however there is information that we want right at our fingertips and this beautiful box covers that need. The hinge is very sturdy.

The tabs that come with the box don't fit the lid, so they're basically useless. The lid split across a seam after just a few months even though it was stored in a normal room, with normal temperatures. The listing says that they'll stand by their product and that you should just contact them, but no response when contacting them through their website. There is no obvious way to contact them otherwise.

Exactly as advertised. Very well constructed, great finish. Will be decorating for a recipe box as a gift. Would purchase again. Great value for the price.
