Hoont 2 Pack Plug-in Electronic Total Pest Eliminator + Night Light - Eradicates Insects and Rodents

THIS DOES NOT WORK!I don't know how much more clear it can be. I am honestly very confused by all the good reviews.I got this for a mouse problem I have. I know exactly where their nest is as well. I just cannot get to it without tearing through the walls. However, I have an electrical outlet located about 24 inches from their nest and shares the same wall. I thought this would be perfect. So wrong. I have had these plugged in for about a week and there has been zero change. I still hear the mice cavorting around in my garage(the wall is shared with the garage. I have one unit plugged directly into the wall right by their nest and the other plugged into an extension cord and placed free standing directly in from of their rat hole in the garage. Absolutely nothing. This morning when I got up to get laundry done I saw one of the mice just standing there about 4 feet away from the garage unit. Just looking at me happy as could be. That was the last straw for me. If these won't even bother a mouse literally not 4 feet from it in the open these things just flat out DON'T work.And yes, I have assured myself over and over that they are plugged in, receiving power and all three lights are on and activated. Multiple times day.Going to give it another few days for benefit of a doubt before I return them. I hate to leave bad reviews and I dearly wish these worked as advertised.I will update if anything changes but as of now this was a complete and total waste of money and time.EDIT 2/8/16I gave it an extra week just to make sure there wasn't some kind of delayed action from it.Nope. Nothing. The two units I have are accomplishing nothing. I still have mice running around just mere feet from these units. This morning I noticed spiders in the living room in the upper corner. About 15 feet total from the living room unit with absolutely nothing obstructing the way. This spider was alive and well and happily munching on a moth. These units are a complete and utter failure.Reading all of these reviews I can only surmise that eitherA)I got a bad batch that are broken somehow.B)They are fake reviews. Something that DOES occur on Amazon(and more often than you may think) for the uninformedReturning these today.

I've these for a month now, and if anything I'm seeing MORE spiders and roaches crawling around my home. I usually get bugs coming around every 6 or so months, and I got this item during one of those times. Whenever an infestation began I'd maybe see one dead roach who ate my traps in my house, after installing this I've been seeing up to 3, and that's even after a month of use. I guess I'll just be buying more traps and pesticide, because these things aren't doing a damned thing.I'd argue that these things actually ATTRACT bugs. I have one of these plugged upstairs, and another downstairs. For the first time ever, I saw a roach upstairs. Usually I only see them down because they get in from outside through cracks in the garage, and usually die by the time they get inside the house because of baits, so they've never been upstairs. However with this thing, I saw a fully matured roach right underneath where I had it plugged.Let's review.-Without these and simply using bait traps to kill off any bugs, I've only ever seen one dead roach in my house on the first floor every 6 months or so, and spiders I can never really know when they show up.-With these I've seen a live roach on my top floor, live and dead ones on my first floor every morning. This means that they're probably crawling around at night not giving any cares about these 'repellents'.I can't really say about spiders too much, I've still seen spiders, but they're hard to judge since even before I bought these I hadn't been getting many spiders. So I'll keep these in just in case that they are MAYBE annoying the spiders... but I'm doubtful.

I ordered 2 sets of these Pest Eliminators to get the best coverage in the layout of our house. It's now been 2 weeks since I plugged them in, and for me there are both pros and cons with them.Pros:I haven't seen any spiders, other creepy crawlies, or evidence of new activity from mice.The night light is a soft, blue glow that lights the immediate spot enough to see the area in the dark, such as a hallway, but not enough to disturb sleep.The 3 light settings are easy to set to whichever mode you choose by pushing the button.Cons:I have two complaints that are equally annoying:1) They have not worked on flies or small flying insects. I was really hoping it would.2) The unit is so large that it prevents using the second outlet on a standard two outlet. It's frustrating to have to unplug the unit to use the outlet every time, like for the iron, vacuum, etc., then plug back in and reset the unit.Also, the unit is rather bulky and top/front heavy and pulls itself partially out of the outlet and has to be pushed back in periodically.

We have been in our newly built house only 2 weeks when we started seeing little field mice running around. We have a huge field behind us and they are doing new construction, so the field mice are now looking for a new home. Unfortunately, they found ours! I read the other reviews on this product, as well as the 4-pack Hoont Plug-In Ultrasonic Pest Repellent, and decided to order BOTH since both had great reviews. We received them very quickly, I plugged them in and have not seen 1 trace of any mice around since! Not sure which is working better, but I don't care. I plugged these bigger silver ones in my outside plugs (covered patio areas) and the smaller white ones inside the house.

These work! my home backs up to farmland and the mice and moles look for warm places. before i got these, i was banging on floors several times a night to get the critters to stop. They've actually done some damage that will need professional repair work. I did some research found great reviews on these and got them. I went overboard probably ... I have them in every single room of my home ... but THEY WORK!
