Fast-Acting Clarifier with a Few Caveats
I recently used API ACCU-CLEAR to sort out a frustrating bout of cloudy water—and it delivered. Within just a couple of hours, the tank went from murky to clear, giving the full-crystal look without a hassle. It works by clumping the micro-particles into larger ones that either get caught in the filter or settle quickly, so it’s easy to remove them during maintenance. It’s also simple to use—just dose according to the label, and you can even incorporate it into weekly upkeep to keep things consistently clear. A few users do report that overdosing can stress your fish, so it’s best to stick closely to the recommended amount. Overall, this product strikes a great balance between effectiveness, affordability, and convenience—and it's become a regular in my aquarium toolkit.

Clears Your Tank Up Fast! Ecellent Product!
This product is amazing. It clears your tank up fast. I had to restart my cycled tank from a year ago because everything got sick. So I started a new tank and got a bacteria bloom. It was the worst I have ever gotten. I had to take everything out of the tank for a bit becuase it was making them sick!. Then I put them back in and finally it started to clear. But the water wasn't clearing up fully.I bought this to help. I put in half of the recommened dose for the first day to not overwhelmed my tank. It cleared it up very well. Then the next day the rest of the dose and BOOM my tank is CRYSTAL CLEAR! I foyu're tank isn't clearing I haighly recommed this product. Follow the directions and use it sparingly so you don't kill your tank though. It's a fantsic product! And it came in less than 24 hours!

Good for maintaining a tank.
It works well enough but won’t fix a tank that’s too far gone. I would recommend using as a maintenance product rather than a fix. The cap doesn’t have enough measurements on it.

Works great and you don’t have to use often
This works really well to clear up my aquarium. After setting it up I had sand floating from the black substrate, making the water all brown and murky. One dose of this cleared it right up. Then after a few weeks it clouded up again just from algae/bacteria whatever, and again one dose cleared it right up and it’s been clear ever since. You don’t need to repeatedly use it which is cool. I imagine this one bottle will last a long time, so it’s a great value for the price.

Awesome Aquarium Cleaner!
The media could not be loaded. This is an honest review of API ACCU-CLEAR made for freshwater aquariums that I use in my aquarium weekly.Pros: Accu-Clear is a must-have product for any aquarium owner, as it works wonders in creating water clarity in your aquarium. I use it in mine once per week. Just a simple amount about the size of a nickel can significantly improve water clarity and remove any green coloring.Opportunities: None. This is a great product at a good price point that is also in a supply amount that will last a very long time.Overall, ACCU-CLEAR makes cleaning and maintaining my aquarium a breeze. It is fish safe and a great product for algae control.

Its is like magic! So far so good!
Omg! I've never seen a product literally work magic before, but here we are! I was apprehensive because some reviews said it killed their fish, but Al's tank was so dang cloudy and NOTHING I tried worked. I was cautious, followed the directions to the T and even took him out for a little vacay while tended to the tank. After several hours I came back to a crystal clear tank. I gently returned Al and happy to say he slept soundly through the night and is still with us! If anything changes, I'll update, but like the title states, so far so good!

Would not recommend if your cloudiness is caused by a bacteria bloom
From what I’ve seen this product works great if your cloudiness is from dust, debris, and maybe a light haze from bacteria or whatever. How this works is it acts as a binding agent to particles in the water and clumps them together so it is easier for your filter media to catch it, or it sinks to the bottom in clumps which can be vacuumed out. I however used this when I had an EXTREME bacteria bloom. I could not see 2 inches past the glass. I used the proper dosage and it bonded up so much bacteria that it created long slime trails that got stuck all over my driftwood, in my plants, and a pain to remove from my grass carpet, as giant clumps of bacteria attached themselves to it. On top of that since I just had such a high amount of bacteria it clogged up my filter within minutes. Again this works great as a water polisher and removing dust and light haziness. If you have a bloom like mine where your water nearly looks solid grey, it is too far gone for this product to fix. You are better off changing out polishing filter pads daily and letting it dissipate on its own what getting bacteria clumps all over substrate, plants, glass, and filter.
