Very often backgrounds make the picture, so much attention to detail is required. I personally needed flexibility and creativity in this area. This light answered all my needs, and more. It is very lightweight, the color changes are crisp and very easy to use giving me a lot of room for creativity, and it is very affordable. And best of all, GVM actually stands behind the product. I had a simple question I emailed them, and they responded right away. Amazing! I highly recommend this product

I try to wait for awhile before I send in reviews, one because it's time consuming and two because I can't really comment until I've used a few times. This light I was automatically impressed. I did need a few youtube tutorials on how to use. I only purchased one and i'll think about others if needed because you can sync and use master and slaves. Used in my small studio, this one light sets the mood! I'm ready for the world!

I have three of these, but I am now down to two because my wife ran off with one of them and a light stand to hang over her jigsaw puzzle board. She has it cranked to full spectrum so she can see the colors accurately on the pieces of the puzzle. I fear I will never get that one back.Great lights for video and vloggers. Not quite bright enough for studio camera work however unless you are just shooting portraits. Works well for that. But if you are shooting full body work you will want a bit more light.

Easy to use, definitely needed for pictures/ videos if you're wanting an exotic look. Make sure to pay attention to the wattage because that determines how crisp the colors are. The higher the better.

For Me is so perfect i was using a pair of little neewer lights. Those was fine. But This one is so perfect for a small studio and the price was awesome

The Application doesn't work and makes it difficult to program the right colors

This is my second GMV 800D. Love these lights for background color. But Amazon doesn't apparently check their returns and someone had purchased the light Amazon sold to me, took the power supply out and sent it back to amazon with some random power cord for a laptop power supply in the box.Now I'm responsible for tracking down the parts to make the product I bought from Amazon work. I dont even know if this light works yet. So just keep that in mind if you choose to buy this from Amazon.Update: Requested Refund. Amazon had directly me to GVM to have the parts replaced, but GVM refused to do that since it was clear Amazon sold me a used light.
