Scotch Sure Start Packaging Tape

I love this tape — it’s a great value and works perfectly for my small business. I use it to tape up all of my packages and it holds really well without splitting or peeling. The adhesive is strong, and it makes packing orders quick and easy. It’s reliable, easy to use, and lasts a long time, which is exactly what I need when shipping regularly. I will definitely continue to purchase this tape.

These bulk tape rolls are absolutely a godsend for my small business! It saves so many trips to the store to be able to order in bulk from Amazon, and when I'm in the middle of packaging orders, the last thing I want to do is go to the store. I absolutely cannot recommend this tape enough. It doesn't smell, the blade is easy to use, it's incredibly durable. I've been using it for 3 years now, never had an issue. Definitely good value in bulk purchasing it as well!

I would give this tape 10 stars! This is much easier to use and is so quiet when you roll out the tape. This is my new go to tape! Love it!! It does the job!

If you are searching for strong cellophane strips that are sticky on one side but not sticky on the other, look no further because that's exactly what this is. Whats more, this amazing stuff is stored rolled up. Somehow, through industry magic, the sticky stuff stays on just one side of the cellophane, despite it being in contact with both sides when rolled up! Seriously, it does! I'm certain someone kidnapped one or two of Santa's elves to pull off this witchcraft. Not only is the product stored in this incredible space saving method, its rolled up on a thick piece of cardboard tubing so that it doesn't collapse in on itself when not in use! The manufacturers, in their infinite wisdom, include a handy dispenser with the product. Take note: the dispenser is manually operated, so, its title is a bit of a misnomer considering it does no actual dispensing. Not to worry, it isn't very complicated to figure out, the wife had it pretty much mastered within an hour or two, and she's about as smart as a sack of wet grass. Word to the wise here; Practice caution when handling the product once unrolled, if two sections of the sticky side come in contact with one another, the adhesion is not just doubled, its squared. Nearly impossible to unstick them. We tried a crowbar, yelling angry threats at it, tried loosening the adhesive by heating it with a Bic lighter, we even enlisted the help of some garden gnomes from the neighbors yard hoping the gnomes were aware of the type of magic used by their elven cousins. Nothing short of the gnomes engaging in a tug of war worked effectively. In their defense, they're not that large, so leverage wasn't really on their side but I digress. I hope you find this review helpful, I would include some of the interesting uses of the product we've discovered, but the neighbor is pounding on my door. Something about missing garden gnomes.

I bought this tape before my wife and I moved houses. When it comes to packing tape, I've experienced the good, the bad, and definitely the ugly. I'm happy to report that this 6-pack of packaging tape from 3M definitely falls into the good category. I really like that it comes in a small and super-easy to use roll. You can feel the quality of the tape when you're putting it on your boxes or whatever you're taping up. It's not like those cheap packing tapes that are difficult to use and only add to the frustration of trying to pack your entire life into boxes and then into the back of a truck. The tape tears easily across the jagged metal teeth, which is something other brands don't quite get right. The tape mentioned on the package it was Strong Hold, and it sure did the job. Every one of our boxes made it to the new house after getting packed, taped up, moved to the truck, stacked up with other items, driven across the city, unloaded, and eventually unpacked. With past moves, I've used the cheaper options because I was trying to save a little money. After using other brands and having boxes fall apart mid-move, I knew we needed an upgrade if we wanted to protect our personal items and valuables. This Strong Hold 6-pack was juuuuust what we needed. Overall: 10/10 Value: 10/10 Quality: 10/10 Looks: N/A It's tape!

Good quality tape and very easy to use. It sticks well, feels strong, and the dispenser makes it smooth and convenient for packing boxes. I bought it at a decent price and overall I’m happy with the performance. The only downside is that the roll runs out a bit faster than I expected, so I wish it lasted longer. Other than that, it’s a solid product and I would still recommend it for regular shipping and packing needs.

I ship many packages a day, so have tried a few different styles of packing tape over the past decade. Here is my experience with different shipping tapes which will, hopefully, save you all time and money. 1) Generic tape, while less for the qty, tears on the rolls frequently and is not as sticky. 2) USPS Brown Shipping tape doesn't stick AT ALL, on ANY surface. 3) REGULAR SCOTCH SHIPPING TAPE works VERY well, BUT if you get it stuck to itself you have to throw away the compromised portion. In addition, it can tear on the roll & trying to get the whole strip even again, can also waste a lot of tape & time....which both cost $$$. 4) SCOTCH "SURE START" SHIPPING TAPE eliminates BOTH issues, while maintaining its strong adhesive capabilities. i give this 4 1/2 stars, as it is expensive for the amount you get. Though, considering all the Tape, Time & Hassle I save compared to REGULAR SCOTCH SHIPPING TAPE, I suppose it works out evenly. OVERALL: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I sell vinyl records and my shipping boxes require easy to use and strong tape to reinforce. I’ve tried many other units and this particular SCOTCH has worked the best for me. Easy to use, well worth the price.

No es la primera vez que me mudo, un rato elemento siempre necesario en esas mudanzas es la cinta para cerrar tus cajas, anteriormente lo hacía con la clásica cinta canela y era un desastre, grandes desperdicios de cinta, sin embargo con estas cintas para embalaje es muy sencillo hacerlo, basta localizar el extremo, tirar de la cinta sobre la superficie a unir y usar la sierra incluida a la longitud deseada. Bastante más fácil. El único inconveniente relativamente corta la cinta pero el paquete trae lo suficiente para una mudanza completa. Recomendado ampliamente.
