Lyons Gold Label Tea 80 tea bags - PACK OF 3

I love my tea strong & with milk and sugar. I brew for 5 minutes. This tea is wonderful and not usually available in my local stores.

I normally prefer Barry's over Lyons, but the last batch was old and rather bland tasting, so I figured I'd switch to Lyons. Well, this batch of 3 boxes has less than 60 days' shelf life before its "Best By" date.I'll try it, and I hope it's as flavorful as my previous orders. If not, this may be my last purchase.

This is one of the best blends of tea that I have brewed.

Rec’vd on 3/25/24and expiration date was 5/2024 each box has expiration date 0f 5/2024 and each box hold 80 tea bag 3 boxes total 240 so the tea will expire well before I can possible drink 240 cups of tea-in the future date of experation should be on the information before purchase is made - would by this product again-very disappointed-

As noted in many other reviews, the boxes were mangled and damaged.

This is LYONS version of English Breakfast tea and, as a tea freak, having tried all the co-called "best" brands (Typhoo, PG Tips, Barry's, etc.) this is the freshest, best tea. Not to be confused with Lyons Irish Tea which tastes (to me) like tobacco. That all said, I do, occasionally, get a 2 or 4 pack that is from a stale batch. No way to prevent that. LYONS of Dublin no longer seals these boxes of 80 bags in cellophane. Stale tea last time and it is unsanitary, unsafe (my opinion) during a pandemic. Sadly, switched to Barry's.

Lyons Gold Tea is very good tea and my favorite. But be aware that these boxes of tea bags come unsealed, no outer plastic wrapping around the boxes of tea bags. Boxes of tea I've ordered from other vendors, and purchased in the grocery store, are always sealed in plastic wrap around the outside of the box. No seal for safety and freshness makes me very uncomfortable with the tea, and I will not order from this vendor again.
