Xiantao Zhong Yi ZYB-11 They are OK. Not as good as others but acceptable.
I bought these masks for myself and employees who are working in a non-essential retail location. The masks are ok. Fit comfortably. They could be tighter (but I have a beard so without shaving I'll never have a proper fit.) I consider the 3M N95 brand to be gold standard and these are not on the same level in my opinion. Even if they are not true N95 (but I think they are) I feel they will work better than a loose cotton fabric mask in terms of COVID protection. Since these are being sold by Amazon without needing Authorization to buy them (like you need for 3M N95 masks) I think it is fair to say the medical community is not interested/using the ZY masks. When compared side by side to an old 3M 8511 N95 mask, the material on the ZY mask is much thinner. The ZY mask seems to have two layers; a very tightly spun melt blown layer on the inside and a smooth filter paper like layer on the outside. My 3M 8511 has the spun material on the outside and it is a much thicker layer. The inside of my 3M 8511 is very soft filter paper like layer and almost “cushiony” and also thicker. The ZY mask appears smaller but when I stack the 3M and ZY mask on top of each other the oval portion is nearly the same size, the ZY may be just slightly smaller. The ZY masks fits my large adult male face fine. It made an ok seal but not as good as the 3M seal. The 3M seems larger as it has a much bigger nose bridge section compared to the ZY.The ZY masks do say they are NIOSH approved (and I verified on the CDC website.) On the certificate of Qualification, they include in the box they say “Non medical N95 respirator mask”. The donning instruction sheet is not the same as the one linked on the CDC website but they do have the same images and language including grammar errors.Over all – I will use them to go to the grocery store and when inside the office with my coworkers for extended periods of time. I would not buy them if I had access to 3M products.

(See update! ) A true N95 mask? Maybe if you rip out foam nose cushion.
These filter out 95% or more of particles 0.3 microns or larger which is the standard for N95 masks. (*See update!)I like that it doesn't touch my mouth and nose. It also doesn't slip down under my nose. It has no smell.I wish they were cheaper but I'd rather spend more and get true N95. Beware of KN95 masks. They are supposed to be the Chinese made equivalent to N95 but the ones I've gotten do not meet the KN95 standard to filter 95% of 0.3 micron particles but instead only filter 95% of 2.5 micron particles. That's a big difference! Especially when you want to filter out the corona virus which is much smaller than 2.5 microns. So paying extra for a true N95 mask is worth it.I've wasted a lot of money on KN95 masks so getting true N95 masks is worth the extra cost. I have no idea why Amazon allows sellers to say "KN95 mask for sale" then describe it as filtering 95% of 2.5 micron particles. It's like saying "Silk shirt for sale" then describing it as being made of cotton. The lesson? Read the description and get masks that filter 95% of 0.3 microns.UPDATE: On the inside of the mask across the bridge of the nose, like the metal nose thing but inside, is a thin piece of foam. Very airy foam. It feels nice but my breath goes in and out through that foam which does not filter out anything! In cold weather I can see exhalation steam coming out of that gap unimpeded. I can feel cold air coming in past there when I inhale. It makes the mask virtually worthless. I ripped the foam out so it fits tight against my nose and no longer feel cold air rushing in via that spot. Now it Seals tight all the way around.

ZYB - 11- N95 respirator
These mask are as close as I am going to get to the 3M mask that are so cherished in the medical community right now. I had some 3M respirator mask before CoVid (for woodworking, etc) I really can not tell you the difference between the two as far as quality. It has a decent seal around my face. The elastic is a looser than the others, but you can tie a knot to tighten. I am very happy because the price was reasonable and the quantity will help make the dollar stretch.11/27 update*** without tying a knot in elastic it is tight enough. I feel very safe in these. I wear them for an 8 hour work shift. When I take off mask you can see how well it seals around the face by the imprint it leaves around your face. Initially your face is hot under the mask due to your breath, but after a while you adjust to this. It is expected from these type of mask. Definitely a 5 star product

I do Not recommend this mask for Covid protection
Here's why: I was so excited to finally invest in a "True N95 mask, made and certified in America" so I ordered a set of 20 of these and when I put the first one on I immediately felt panic, like no other mask I've owned, this one protruded high above my nose so that the metal clip pushed into my forehead/brow area, and it felt like thick cardboard, inflexible, and it had two sets of strings to pull around my head (a turn off, but I tried it) and yes, with that may bands around your head it did pull it tight, but I struggled to breathe and the way it pushed up too high between my eyes it affected my view. It seems to be the kind people working with plaster walls might be willing to put up with. The Chinese-made "KN95" which I have been buying along (without knowing what the "K" stood for) have all been fantastic, compared to this "N95"
