Pro Tool That Even an Amateur Can Use
I’m a complete amateur when it comes to dent repair, but even I was able to use this successfully to remove a series of dents on the back door of my hatchback. I’ve used all the suction cups and hot glue systems out there and this is better for the home user than any of those. Two words of warning. For most dents, you will never get the results that you can get from a body shop. If you’re looking for perfection, hire a pro (who may be using this very tool). Second, most dents do not just pop out like a miracle on the first pull. You have to be patient and methodical. It may take a dozen or two dozen pulls for a dent to completely come out. Take it slow, don’t start with the deepest part of the dent, and this tool will be your best friend. Unlike hot glue systems, there’s very little mess and you can immediately set up for the next pull. Well constructed and very intuitive to use. Did absolutely no damage to my paint.

It works
My pickup bed has rusted out, so I picked up a new one from the salvage yard. It has (had) two dents on the fender where it was bumped by a piece of equipment. I was almost able to completely remove a small long dent that had not broken the paint, only clear coat. Then end of this dent is at a corner by the tail light, and I have no access to the back. I will just polish this one and wax it. The larger dent was down to the bar metal with various complicated creases. I worked my way in and around pulling it out. The paint and clear coat were coming off and sticking to the monkey snot after a while so I stopped. It will need to be repainted anyhow, so i used hammer, dollies etc to finish. I have never used this method before, so I have nothing to compare it to for my rating -- so take that into consideration. The threads have in the aluminum have not given out yet, but I can tell they were effected by the hammer (tight at first to unscrew). So that could be a big clue to longevity.

Nice kit
This Kauplus kit is a definite bargain. The slide hammer appears well constructed and the cold glue tabs appear to be strong. The hammer is 1.3 kg (2.87 lbs). My only concern is the four tabs included are a bit large for small damage. This, however, can be easily rectified by the purchase of a M12 adapter available on Amazon. This adapter fit on perfectly (same threading) and enables me to use the smaller glue tabs that I already own.

Didn’t work for us
Tried to work out a dent and this did no more good than the 15 dollar suction cups for us. Maybe if you have a lot of skill it will work better for you. It presents well and looks sturdy just didn’t preform as expected. Since every dent is different I’m going to give it 3 stars since I can’t promise it’s my lack of skill that made this not work as well.

Broke apart at first use
After opening the box, I has high expectations as the reviews seemed good and materials and quality looked good. The hammer seems made of quality metal and has good weight to it. However, during very first use, after just a few strokes of the hammer the small tab at the end of the rod meant to stop the heavy hammer piece broke apart and went flying out! I thought the tab might be a screw-on but no. The metal really split and broke apart making the tool unusable. Thankfully, was able to get a full refund after chatting with Amazon’s customer service.

Quick and easy to use
I'm a novice and have been using a hot glue home system. I was/am happy with those results but it can be a slow process. I am amazed at how much quicker the cold glue system is. I'm happy with the results. I don't expect this product to get me to my final result but it saved me a lot time getting to the fine tuning step.

Not durable device
Dent puller worked well while it worked. After 3 weeks of use the threads on the grip completely stripped off. Sold with "No Return" policy and can not find anyone to contact about buying a replacement part. Says will not hurt paint but pulled little specs of paint like pepper flakes off my Toyota.

Watch your hands but it can move metal.
The Cold Glue is better then the tool. The first day I used the tool I pinched one hand taking the slide back and I also pinched the other hand holding the front. Wear some really thick gloves when using this tools!!!. You can lose hand part whit this! This tool will move some metal when air temperature is below 80 and the metal temperature below 85. Now for the bad news. The red holding part of the tool is aluminum and every thing else is steel. The cold glue adheres the car so good you end up ripping the slide bar out of the red holder. For the price you pay there is value. when you first get this. take to machine shop and have them put a high strength pin all the way thru the holder and and slide bar.
