Iron on Patches Iron on Denim Patches Repair Kit for Clothes, Jeans, Jackets, Large Size, 4.9 Inch, Denim Cloth

Exactly what I needed
These patches were needed to repair two different pairs of jeans that had some serious holes and tears in them. Firstly I matched the colour to each pair and then I set my iron to the hottest setting. I placed the patch over the hole/tear and pressed it down for several minutes to ensure total adhesion. As the patches were covering quite a large hole/tear and they were situated in a position which would get a lot of ‘friction’, I decided to stitch around the edges of each patch and this has created the perfect mend. I am very happy with these patches and highly recommend them.

Attractive Patches Suitable for a Range of Clothes
As they are, the patches are just right for knees - I tended to cut them down for other repairs. They stuck well when I ironed them on. I usually stitched the edges to the garments - and have had no problems so far. On a couple of heavily used sweaters, I patched on the inside as well - and that has helped. The material is easy to cut and I have been able to cut them into shapes when repairing children's clothes (I do a good rabbit).

If only I could give NO STARS!!!!
Do not buy, these are useless. I ironed them on and when cooled put on jeans and it immediately started to come off.I do not understand how they got so many stars, feel something suspicious going on.Keep your money and buy another product.

Terrible
Terrible. I ironed the patches for a good 1-2 minutes to try and ensure they stuck. Peeled off almost immediately. Tried again for the recommended 30-45 seconds with new patches. Peeled off immediately. Waste of money

Meh
Adhesion isn't great. I bought these to eke out the life in my favourite pair of jeans but alas they just don't stick on well enough. One is starting to unfurl even after the first wear and I've had to replace the other patch already as it was coming off. Seemed like a good idea to try but I think I'll just bin the jeans...

Supplied without instructions
The name of this product was enough to know I needed to use an iron, but no information about temperature, duration of heating, what surface(s) to iron (patch? jeans? inside? outside? both?) should a damp cloth be used? Not surprisingly, my first attempt fell off after a couple of days. Second attempt has lasted a bit longer so far.

Do a decent nob
Good patches. Adhesion OK, but not great, corners have started to lift. Got these to patch some old very comfy jeans on the inside thigh. Did the job, although not sure they last very long. Will see how they go but can always put some others over the top if I need to!

Good for value
Although they fraye at the edges after being applied, I would put that down to putting the clothes into the wash and the patches getting snagged. But otherwise they do the job of patching up my work clothes
