What about 12" x 12' hardie siding does it work?

Worked very well. Did one half the job without these and had 4 people moving all over the place. The second half of the job used these. My 14 year old daughter and 16 year old son did the actual install, all I had to do was do the cutting. We had it finished before my husband even got home from work.

I'm doing ceder sideing and would like to know if this will work with my sideing is 5/8 inch on the bottom

Evelyn, I found the Soloslider a great tool, but as it states, the bottom lip that the siding sets on is only 7/16's, it will not allow the 5/8's material to set down into it.

will these work on 3/8 " smartside and 7/16" smartside

check out the Solosider Pro it will do 5/16 fiber cement, 3/8 Smartside,7/16 Smartside and 5/8 Artisan and more! it is adjustable!

Will these work on 16 inch x 16ft 7/16 Lp Smartside?

I know people use them for 12" by 16 ft , if it is 16" wide you might want to double up on the tool's
