Lite SourceLS-306WHT Halotech Halogen Desk Lamp, White

The base on this lamp is heavy enough to prevent tipping or a lot of accidental movement, but not so heavy that I can't move it when I want to. The boom is well balanced, easy to adjust, but stays in place once adjusted. It's long enough to reach over my 24" monitor, and then some. The beam is bright, and it's focus on my desk is wide enough to take in my paperwork, with no side-spilling light to reflect off my monitor screen. The heat generated is negligible. I could not ask for a better solution my particular lighting need.

I enjoyed this mysterious lamp for 3 years, but it broke the 1st time. I ordered a second one -thinking-what are the chances I’ll get one with faulty wiring twice in a row?The second lamp is now on the fritz, glowering eerily off & on. I’m not sure what the problem is but there are no less than SIX caution tags on the wire. Save yourself the time, money & hassle of having to return it -especially since Amazon will make you return it to some shipping place.

False advertising!! Illegitimate product! It said halogen lamp -I deliberately made sure when purchasing bc this lamp also comes with led version —I bought white instead of black (what I wanted) bc the white one was listed as halogen—I paid a lot of money for a terrible lamp that a cheapo lamp from Walmart for a few bucks is better at illuminating my desk at —barely any brightness even when on max and it’s a weak led lamp—so disappointed after all the research and time I spent to not get what I ordered and paid for —I’m in grad school and going through PhD comp exams didn’t have time to return it in 30days and was 100 bucks down the drain and all the time I spent searching for this lamp and it wasn’t even the halogen version as it was listed and described as !! False advertising!!

Having had the WHITE Halotech lamp years ago, lasting forever, then changing to very expensive Euro designs without the Wattage, ( sending them back) I bought the 'Brushed Steel' model for $55.-, loving it, although I REALLY like the White, matching my decor. Finally splurging to $125.- price ! The Lamps are absolutely Fabulous, the balanced weights are perfect when I lower the arm to precisely being over over my writing stationary without having shadows. The 50W. brightness again is perfect for my detailed work in photography. The elegance and solid construction are incomparable to 'exquisite' models I have tested.Overall, Both Brushed Steel and White models are not only timeless, but for Years to come classy, quality and choice lamps one should treat themselves to

I bought this to replace a 20+ year old identical lamp, because some of the white was turning yellowish. Obviously, I love it! It's a sleek modern touch in a mostly traditional room. Sits on an antique bedside table. It gives very good light for reading, and I had to change the bulb on the old one only once in all those years! I do remember it being difficult to change. That and the eventual discoloration are the reasons it isn't a perfect five.

Love it- has a high & low beam, lights up the desk area perfectly. We liked it so much we bought a 2nd one for my daughter's desk and a 3rd one (silver) for my husband's desk.

Well packaged. Really pleased with this purchase and so much brighter than my previous halogen desk lamp.

Good light, two illumination levels, bright and brighter. Really nice paint finish, no unevenness. Looks great in white.
