Fits Streamlight standard switches perfectly. Do your best not to spill blue Locktite on your pants while juggling it during the delicate installation balancing act though. 😉I'm not sure how the polymer version works (reviews are sketchy at best), but I had bought it and returned it in favor of the aluminum one before opening it, and I'm glad I did because the fitment of this one is perfect.

Cloud defensive definitely has the best tape switch mount on the market. Its a super high quality accessory. Perfect fit and finish. I just don't see $70 in 3 small aluminum pieces and 2 screws. So there's the reason for 4 stars. It was a bit of a pain to install but not terrible. Took me about 10 minutes of fiddling with it and that was with me sitting on the floor without a vice and no spare hands to help. Once installed it's a killer little setup. Just way overpriced for what it is. However, if you're looking for the best then this is it.

Works great for weapon mounted light management

Not the most important part of my ar system but if you care about the little details of your build then it's worth it mounting was easy and hides the excess wire from your light it just cleans up the look without having to use a ranger band or wire tie

I read reviews claiming that the screws sent were too short. Everything fit perfectly for securing my Streamlight Protac hl-x pressure plate. This mount also has a convenient groove for the cord to slide into.If you're having any issues installing the mount, there is a great video on YouTube by Brownells. It's pretty straightforward mount but if you need to see someone else do it first, I recommend watching the quick video.

This is a great way to secure the pressure pad for my Streamlight Pro-Tac HL-X and I would say there are pros and cons here but I would recommend picking this product up as I believe it is hands down the best way to securely mount your light bar (pressure pad) for regular shooting and no having to worry about if its going to fall off, come loose, or run melted glue/plastic down the side of your handguard.Pros:1.) Picatinny Mounting System (Secure & Much better than the included tape/zip ties)2.) Dont have to worry about heat from the barrel on high round count days (I do 200+ round days at times depending on what I am doing for that day). With the COVID price of ammunition currently that isnt as possible unfortunately.3.) The railing includes awesome cable management that does not damage the cable when mounted securely and helps to maintain a clean and professional look.Cons:1.) Price. The cost of the mount is HALF as much as the light system.2.) Huge pain to assemble the first time. It comes in three pieces and cannot be pre assembled and popped on. You must put the three pieces together on the rail and screw them together while holding them on. You will need your own allen wrench in 3/32 to assemble (one is not included).3.) This depends on where you mount but if you mount the light bar on the top and you are running a c-clamp grip with a lower mounted sight you may be co-witnessing through glass with your thumbs knuckle. This would be a general issue with all light bars mounted on top so make sure to understand clearance. This was not an issue for me but just be aware.I am still fully standing behind the product even with the downsides. This is a gucci upgrade for a rifle so assuming you have upgraded the other important parts of your build (Sights, Muzzle, Trigger, etc.) and are looking to fine tune it to perfection this is the way to go.

Worked perfect for my Protac pressure switch. The ones that come with light are horrible. This Mount is very well built. Like others stated it’s over priced for sure. But not many options out there.

I bought this because the mounting pads that come with the Streamlight Protac HL-X are absolutely laughable (its two pieces of plastic that feels like it's made out of pencil eraser) and I needed a better solution so I could easily move the pad around as needed. I came across this product, and while it does the job perfectly well, I can't help but point out how overpriced it is.If this were around $20, I would recommend everyone buy it. But at $55.99, it starts to become a tough sell. There are freely available models online (I can't post links here or Amazon will take down the review, but search on Thingiverse for #4562574) that you could easily either 3D print yourself, or have machined at any local machine shop for half the price.
