I bought these (the fluorite variety) looking to supplement aquarium gravel with something that would fluoresce under blacklight (long wave UV). Fluorite would be the perfect stone for that, that's exactly what they do, this stone is where the term "fluorescence" came from...What arrived looks like the pics and is the advertised size. But it isn't fluorite. Almost none of them fluoresce under long wave UV. I tested with several quality 365nm emitters (one of them very high quality, precision medical grade). A very small percentage, maybe less than 10% showed some faint fluorescence (all of which a very light green color under natural light), but most showed none at all. Not fluorite.These are priced about twice the market rate for material like this. I'm willing to pay for quality but this was false advertising. They look pretty but they are not the advertised mineral. Very disappointing. I'm already committed to using them but if I had to do it over again knowing what I know now, I would have passed.Based on this experience, I have to question how genuine their other varieties are as well.

Very pretty

Attractive small crystals that can be used for a variety of uses - aquariums, craft projects, vases, mulches around potted plants, etc. The price seems a bit extravagant to me. This is a small jar (see my photo). The product description boasting mind enhancement and promoting plant growth is dubious at best.
