Don't Ever Stop Making/Selling Them!!
This is my second purchase of these Witch Hazel Suppositories. I bought my first package last year, and I just used up my last one. As I was coming to the end I made sure to order more so they would get here just in time. Generally I deal with some fairly common GI complaints that caused me to try these out in the first place. I have IBS-C, and even though I do high fiber, water, exercise, daily magnesium, stool softeners, and prescription medication for this disease/syndrome, whatever it is, I do still have times when things become difficult and that can cause pain and swelling and similar symptoms. I, like most people who deal with such issues, have on hand all of the typical products from the local pharmacy – the creams, ointments and suppositories, but honestly I don’t really like them that much. More times than not they tend to make me feel MORE uncomfortable rather than resolving my discomfort. Maybe it just depends on the severity of my symptoms or what exactly I’m dealing with at the time – I don’t really know for sure. I just know I was at a point last year where I felt like I needed something “different”, something that was “cleaner”, with fewer ingredients, which could hopefully calm down some of my symptoms without any type of discharge or “warming/cooling sensations” (which may be preferable to some people under some circumstances, I understand, but is not what I was looking for). So I went on Amazon and eventually I found these witch hazel suppositories. They seemed to get good reviews for soothing flared “tissues” shall we say, without goopy creams or ointments, or even the melting often noted by myself and some others with the name brand suppositories that contain more active ingredients. When I got them I put them in the refrigerator as I have found that is the best way to keep these things intact and in the easiest form to insert. Also, the gentle coolness of That (the refrigeration) often helps bring some relief for the first few minutes. These do help with tender, painful, swollen tissues (piles, etc.), they help me to feel cleaner and more comfortable, and luckily I’ve only needed 12 in the past year, so that’s pretty good. Unfortunately, I just had a colonoscopy last week where a couple of polyps had to be removed, one on the larger side. I have been having quite a bit of discomfort at the removal site since the procedure. As we are still waiting for pathology results the doctor did not want to prescribe anything to help with this pain, but I did, thankfully, have several of these still on hand, and while they did not relieve all of the pain, they were definitely very helpful in taking the edge off it so I wasn’t completely miserable. I think they are a very good product, which I plan to have on hand at all times, so please don’t stop making them!! Thank you!!

Best solution out there!
I was trying to find a natural solution for my 'problem'. Witch hazel works so well, but I thought there must be something out there that helps internally. This is amazing! I keep them in the fridge so they don't melt and retain some firmness for application. Try it!

Saving grace!
Ok, so like most of the reviews these things were kind if melted/very soft. I put them in the fridge to harden some. They never really fully formed like the other brands I have used but these things worked better than anything I have used! Omg!

It does provide relief from internal rhoid discomfort.....
I was kinda skeptical buying this product due to a few bad reviews. But here's what you need to know: I bought these to treat my internal rhoids. When the package arrives by mail, immediately put into the freezer and keep them there until you are ready to use. I left them overnight. Each suppository comes in a plastic mold that peals away from the top (not the open bottom). The suppository itself is smallish, so you'll have no problem inserting. From the moment its removed from the fridge, you want to be quick about inserting the suppository. The nice cold feel brings instant relief and the product itself does provide mild relief for symptoms such as burning.

They worked!
They do melt very easily. However, it is easy to just put one on something cold to get where you are using it.

great product
Pros: -Aids in reducing swelling associated with internal hemorrhoids. -Shorten recovery time of fissures. -Easy to insert. Due to their shape, they propel themselves up, no need to use a digit to manually push them up. Also, if you let it melt slightly next to the skin, it creates its own lubricant. -Herbals are in a wax base, meaning that the whole thing doesn't dissolve into messy liquid upon warming. The wax does soften and melt to consistency of butter at room temp. -Pleasant smelling. -Kept at room temp (68-70F) and they maintained shape and did not disintegrate during insertion. Cons: -Packaging will allow the suppositories to leak out, if item being shipped out during warm months. -Expensive compared to over the counter brands. -During acute inflammation, some people may find the suppository too large.
