Nice ratcheting cutter
Well constructed ratcheting PVC cutter. Also useful for cutting other materials in addition to plastic piping!

some cuts not straight
I only used it for a few pipes. The good is that it cuts through 1/2" pipe easily. The not so wonderful was that in a couple of cases the cuts turned out not straight, i.e., ended up at an angle.

Cuts through pipes like butter
I bought this to cut some of my pvc pipes. I tried many blades and knives but it was too dangerous and nothing worked. These are pretty good and really sharp to cut through many types of pipes. I was even able to cut and adjust length of bathroom square rod. The best part is that it has lock so you won't accidentally injure yourself. Really impressed by the quality.

Effective and easy to use
This tool cuts PVC pipes accurately without sawing or leaving plastic powder, and doesn't take a lot of hand strength to use.

Love these for pvc cutting on a regular basis. Even bought some for replacement.

Works well but needs finer ratcheting gear
This pipe cutter works well, sharp blade etc. Would work better if ratcheting teeth were finer so that it gripped with less movement. I found I had to hold the cutter blade in tension in order to get cutting action, where if I did not, the blade wouldn't engage and I was left pulling the handle without cutting the pipe. As I said, it's a nice heavy tool that works well EXCEPT for the coarseness of the ratcheting bar. Otherwise it's great!
