Fat Brain Toys Joinks

My daughter lights up playing with these Joinks. It can keep her busy for so long and allow her to be so creative and determined to figure out how to best use all the pieces. The parts and pieces are so wonderfully made and thought out. I plan to buy another box and double our quantities. She first played with it at her preschool and I had to get it for her and have her play with it at home. She is so happy!

My 12 year old daughter uses these constantly. She got them as a birthday gift a few years ago and asked for a second set this year to build even bigger creations. She makes “clothing,” “hats,” “costumes” and all sorts of geometric figures. They are great for any aspiring architect, engineer, costume designer, or just anyone who loves to make and build. She made “dragon wings” out of them, which were wearable and 3 dimensional. It is going to be an inspiration for many a Halloween costume to come.

A+ for quality---very nicely made and will withstand a lot of play.Love the flexibility of the rubber, and the suction cups. It makes so many more construction options possible.Wanted our grandchildren to have something they could use their imagination with---that they could come back to time after time and create something new and exciting. This DOES fit that bill.

Good concept but it is a little too abstract. Still good mind stimulation

Our grandson, 6, loves this assembly toy and he can play for hours. He uses his imagination to build robots, animals and birds. Assembly takes minutes but then there are infinite possibilities to modify to a completely different object. As an adult I find some pleasure in connecting and disconnecting the parts - hard wood into flexible rubber. Fun and educational. This is the second set we bought to expand the scope of things he can build.

Kids have fun building new designs and the best part is that it's lite and easy to pack on vacations.

My kids, 5 and 7, love these. The connectors are squishy and bendable, so it’s much easier to create things with them than with tinker toy type toys. These appear quite sturdy and well-made, and I anticipate they will last even through pretty rough play. And for the price, they should last. These are definitely not cheap.

The package came ripped up and like it had been dropped or smashed. The products seems to be intact though, but won’t know until we open it in a day for my son’s birthday. May have to return if damaged.

great product! the joints will not let you down .. we have had other stick connector toys that eventually lose connection .. but this has a solid hold that will encourage creativity rather than frustrate it!

Noticed my son (age 3.5) played with another construction toy a lot at nursery (there's always at least four boys at the 'tubes' building some mega weapon), but didn't want to buy the same thing for home. Found this and it's been a major hit. I've already purchased a second packet. He loves it, gets it out every day without fail and builds shapes, houses, guns, water shooters, rabbits, you name it... We've built some of the designs on the packet together. We have competitions for the best creation. It's definitely more popular than lego, even though we are great fans of that too. Playdates have not been allowed to use it yet (we have to hide it before they arrive), that's how much he loves it! Think it's a very good quality toy, encourages the imagination, and definitely a keeper...

Joinks is a fantastic construction toy for children.Bought it for my daughters when it was launched via kickstarter, bought it again for my nephews as it was so good.They are all 4 1/2 yo now, but great from 3yo to very much older than this.
