ITA-MEDExtra-Strong Lumbo-Sacral Support Belt

This back brace helped me with my walking program. I was able to last much longer with it. It doesn't eliminate all back pain while I am walking but it sure does help. As I have been losing weight, I am able to cinch it tighter to keep the support going. I am down 45 pounds just from walking and plan on losing another 100 pounds. Eventually I hope to walk long distances without the brace. Until then, I couldn't be as successful without it.

Just an elastic band. The size chart is way off - the measurements given are for the actual size of the belt, not the size of waist it goes around. The Belt the chart says fits around a 34 inch abdomen is actually 34 inches long and will not stretch around a 34 inch waist.

Very supportive and secure construction. Needed to stitch on a piece of velcro to allow slightly tighter fit, just to "tune" it a bit for a 5'6" 130 lb woman's frame, but the vertical support and strength are great.

Rods in brace are to rigid and don't form to body shape. Sizing is off but have found this with every back brace I have ordered from anywhere. If you take the rods out it is good for very light support.

As I have had 3 back surgeries I need the support ./ this does a good job. and so much cheaper if you buy it at a surgical store.

Just was not comfortable at all!
