There are appox 25 7 inch waffles per 5 pound bag - there are instructions for making the full batch of 5 pounds OR 1 pound of mix. 1 pound will make appox 5 waffles

Note that this product--"Krusteaz BELGEAN WAFFLE" mix is being displayed with "traditional waffle" makers on Amazon. This is wrong. For traditional waffles--with standard small cavity pattern--use the REGULAR "Krusteaz BUTTERMILK Light and Fluffy" pancake mix, and follow the waffle recipe on the package. These two Krusteaz products are not interchangeable and should be used with the right kind of waffle bakers for best results.

How can i make these crispier? the color is perfect, they taste good, but they arent very crispy. im using a new cuisinart wafflemaker.

I don’t know how to make it crispier. I had a normal small waffle maker, I used the Krusteaz batter, it was pretty good. My grandkids loved it, it tasted good.

If U follow the box label and use: one egg, oil(dependent on which kind of oil used), and just water no milk and 1/3 cup of the dry mix the average may be about 130 to 150 calories, this usually makes only 1/2- 7 inch waffle. This mix is not really for watching calories is it? This is a treat for me so I go ahead and consume one whole 8 inch waffle, and with real maple syrup................ummmmmmm good.
