Where are the pens made?

They are made in China. These pens have been the best I ever used, much better than the V-grips pilot pens. I assumed that Japanese pens were berter but they ended bleeding inks. Again, after several months of use, I am only on the second pen which is amazing, considering that I write often with these pens. Let's hope the quality stay the same.

Are these waterproof?

Yep, I washed the backpack twice and the ink is still there.

Is it compatible with the pilot pens?

If you mean "comparable", yes. It's a good smooth rollerball pen. If you mean 'compatible' as in... a part? No-- These are whole pens, not replacement cartridges or anything like that, so you can't stick it in another pen.
