After using a failing light system I bought this one as I was looking after a friend's tortise.Tortise loved the light and heat and the ability to move the light and control the intensity was great. Very happy and came with a spare bulb. Would certainly recommend.

This is the third time one of these units has blown. I have bought them from different suppliers with the same problem. The dimmer switch is not capable of taking the current as they keep blowing and you don’t notice until the lamp gets super hot as the bulb goes on full heat. Very dangerous for the animal underneath it and potentially a fire hazard. I used the bulbs supplied with this unit too as the previous ones came without them.

Was good when it was working, both bulbs went pretty fast and then the lamp itself stopped working, unfortunately

The compact size it's perfect for my tortoise s.the heat from these bulbs 25w is just perfect very economical. 2 bulbs are included lots of heat 🔥 for so little cost definitely would recommend great value the tortoise s are having a smashing time.thank s amazon 😀 👍

While renovating our house it got a lot colder than expected and the temp dropped way too low for my snake's heat mat to provide enough heat for her. I ordered this lamp in a panic and it arrived the next day (a day earlier than expected) and came with 2 bulbs.I wasn't equipped to dismantle her vivarium to install the lamp properly so I clipped it to a makeshift frame outside pointing through the glass into her "warm" corner. The air temp went from a freezing cold 9 degrees to a comfortable 28 degrees within the space of half an hour and has held since.It has only been in use for a day and a half so can't speak for the longevity of the product but very grateful for the prompt arrival and performance so far.
