Ilnp Pink Mimosa Rosy Pink Holographic Nail Polish

The great things about ILNP are 1) it dries very quickly; 2) it's durable (the ones I've tried last at lest 3 days and possibly longer); 3) even with the high concentration of glitter/holo, it comes off relatively easily. I tried Pink Mimosa for the first time today. The coverage is good---the photos show 2 coats without undercoat or top coat. The first photo is in direct sunlight, and you can kind of see a holo effect. The second photo is without direct sun, and it just looks like metallic silver. I took one star off because I was hoping for more pink; I should have paid more attention to the reviews that said it didn't have any pink in it. Still, I wore it to a lunch today and immediately got compliments on it from a Brazilian woman, and Brazilian women are keen on good manicures :-) I'm hoping it lasts as long as the Ballet Slipper shade I've tried for the past 2 weeks. I plan on ordering more ILNP, but also beware: their shipping is super slow. I ordered this on a Monday and it arrived Friday afternoon; the tracking said I could expect it on the following Monday. The first order I placed with them did take a week to arrive (and one of the bottles lacked a brush in it!---but I emailed ILNP and Brandon shipped out a new bottle with first-class shipping, which took only 2 business days). They ship from Las Vegas and if you live west of the Mississippi, expect to wait a week to get your order.

Wow, pretty!!First off, let me say...the presentation is fabulous. It came in a stylish black box with gift tissue wrap inside. The box is designed to hold up to 5 bottles so it would make a fantastic gift. I think in the future, that's exactly what I'll do...order colors that my friends would enjoy and have them shipped straight to their homes, that's how pretty the presentation is. Second, the polish itself is very glitter dense, no undercoat of color needed. It's true to the vibrancy shown in the picture. Third, the only reason I'm holding back on that fifth star is that I just received it in the mail and have not had a chance to actually use the polish yet. I will later tonight. If it works as well as I suspect it will, I'll come back and add that last star.**UPDATE** Just added the fifth star! It glides on smoothly, not like other glitter polish. Two coats and it's opaque; 3 coats and the depth is magical!I will absolutely be buying more colors from this brand!!

This is my favorite nail polish ever. It seems pricey but I can wear this two weeks without chipping. Wonderful color choices also.

I'll start off by saying I was VERY impressed by how this polish came shipped to me, the packaging was so fancy considering I didn't even spend that much. The polish is very pretty but keep in mind it's much more champagne colored then you might be expecting based of the picture, it's hardly pink, very neutral. The holographic effect is really subtle but you could say that this only makes it more wearable I suppose, it's like having a little hint of excitement to a really sophisticated look. I only took a star off because I was really expecting for this polish to be more pink like the picture, and that was more my desired look.

I absolutely LOVE this beautiful polish. I don't give 5 star ratings easily, but this definitely deserves it. When you look at it on your nails straight on it looks like a very pretty pink sparkle. It's when you see your nails under a light and turn them to and fro that you notice the holographic effect - my son called it liquid rainbow. I top it off with a layer of insta-dry Seche Vite and that gives it a nice hard, shiny finish (I'm thinking it you don't use a top coat it might feel a little sand-papery because of the sparkles) and it keeps my nails absolutely gorgeous! I will SO buy this again because I have a feeling I will be using it up quickly!
