Fourteen years ago we set out on a simple mission – to develop a better fishing landing net solution that addressed the many functional and performance problems that existed with the traditional products. However, in recent years the addition of the EGO fishing tools and accessories designed to meet specific angler applications and requirements have become and increasingly important aspect of the business. In 2016 the EGO Kryptek product series was launched featuring the high-tech and very popular Kryptek camo technology. The lifestyle oriented product line brought a new standard in finish quality and design to the fishing net and accessories market and has rapidly gained popularity with anglers throughout the country. EGO products are sold at most major sporting goods retail chains and are carried by a large network of distributors and independent dealers in the United States. Distribution has also grown internationally to include countries such as Canada, Russia, South Africa, South Korea and Japan. From one simple mission has come a host of innovative fishing products that have elevated the fishing experience for thousands of savvy anglers throughout the world.

False advertising
While the net looks nice, it is not what was pictured. The pics at the time of purchase showed a much larger, sturdier net. What we got though was a much lighter and smaller version. The product should stop using stock photos of other nets and include actual photos of what's really for sale.

Great for Frogging with the grand-kids!
I take the grand-kids "frogging" with these every spring in the backyard pond. Great time! The netting is tear resistant but has a fine enough mesh to catch tadpoles, frogs and insect larvae. The handle telescope to eliminate the need for wading in the muck. The price is right!

This is a great net to bring to the beach
If you are lookin for a net you can bring to the beach to catch things this works great. It's light, well made, and works well. It's telescoping so a small child or an adult can use it. The net is durable and should last a very long time.

Nice Bait Well Net
I actually don't own a boat. I use this net along the banks of a river to catch minnows and crawdads for fish bait. It works really for that. Plus the telescoping handle allows me to reach places a shorter minnow net can't reach.

Will it hold-up against our kids?
The net appears to be well made and has proven to be so a couple of months into use. Time will tell!Primarily used for landing fresh-water fish and trying to catch minnows and works well for both. I can see it also being used for catching insects - but there are probably better options if that is the primary use intended.The mechanism for extending the handle for use and reducing it for storage also seems to be durable.Overall, we are happy with the Ego net.

Nice long net
Very nice net, much nicer than I had expected. Extends and locks very positively. Much longer than most any other similar nets I was looking at. I would definitely suggest this net to others.

Black net, not white
havn't used it yet, it looks like it will do the job well, and very light for my kids to use. BUT it is not a white net as shown in the photo, it's a black net on the product I received. You may think that's picky, but a white net would have made it much easier for my little ones to gather around the net and see the tiny minnows and fish they had caught.

Crawfish Nets
Got these for my grandchildren who hunt for crawfish & minnows .They loved them especially the extended handle.very well made..As advertised Would buy again...

Not as described. Arrived broken.
This product arrived with the packaging intact the net was broken. The handle was bent and also broken completely in half. For some reason it was shipped in a gigantic long package even though it has a telescoping handle and could have been sent collapsed. The handle looks so flimsy I think it would break soon upon use even if it had arrived intact. The item was also not as described. The net is a different shape. It is more elongated like a butterfly net which is not what I wanted. Not usable at all.

Great Value for the money
Excellent quality product, i use it on a regular basis in northern Ontario and it withstands the fridgid outdoor temperatures.
