For the price, not a bad little radio.
This radio was easy to set up, owner’s manual was clear to read and with good information. The sound quality wasn’t to bad for this size radio and the price paid. AM and FM reception is good. The sound quality with earphones on FM is good and in stereo. AM band was also good. My only complaint was the display screen had a few minor scratches upon delivery. For the price, this radio seems to be a pretty good deal. Update: There was nothing wrong with the screen. I forgot to remove the protective strip on the screen. The company for this radio is excellent to deal with.

Outshines the other's I've bought
Years ago, I had a very small portable Sony AM/FM that was longlasting and had terrific reception. Alas, Sony discontinued that model and made a larger one - about an inch think and 4 inches tall. It was a complete waste of money--static mostly. I ordered a second, and had same reception problem. I just purchased a Jazmm portable AM/FM -much smaller and compact than the Sony. It takes 2 AAA batteries, as opposed to the AAs Sony requires. Immediately --great, clear sound. All sorts of features - sleep/snooze, etc. but what delights me is the reception. I'd been listening to the radio on my iphone, but the streaming often skipped. This is absolutely a first-rate product, and I am overjoyed. It's streamlined, super light and small, and dependable.

Nice!
In my hurricane-prone area it's always an idea to have an emergency bag/ go-bag / bug-out bag and it's always an idea to have a simple straightforward radio in there. Because, when the internet goes down and the cell tower blows over, chances are that good ol' RADIO will get you through for information. Except that the one in my bag had died of neglect, so I got this one.Pro: Compact, seems decently built.Reception is very good - indoors, where my old radio would have to be twisted, turned, pointed this way or that, if this one can get a station, it sticks with it. For many FM stations, the little rod antenna is optional !Sound - decent volume available. On speech, it's very clear without being overly toppy or tinny. Music - well, it's not exactly a boombox, but music is quite listenable. In short, it sounds a lot better than the phrase "one-inch speaker" would suggest.Con: Only 20 memory slots per band - meaning that if you're in a metropolitan area, an FM scan will fill all the slots and start again at slot one (so, if your favourite station is in the 88Mhz region, that gets overwritten by something from about 107). So you need to curate your favourites manually. From other comments, not great battery life (as i say, this is going in the emergency kit, so i've only been playing with it rather than having it on all day). Buy decent batteries. Or lots of cheap ones. Or rechargeables. And using headphones will reduce consumption. The manual mentions Weather Band, which, of course, this doesn't have. If they could add WB, that would be a nice bonus. Then they could paint it yellow and charge twice as much..........add a serrated edge and call it "Tactical", three times as much !In all, I'm rather sorry that my daily life has no need of this radio - because it's a nice little bit of kit.

Good reception
This little radio works well for my needs. It is small and fits well into one of the pockets on my work lunch bag. Reception is pretty good also. My only reason for 3 star review is battery life. It would be nice if it was rechargeable but for the price what the heck. Just keep a couple extra batteries with you. Sound is decent on a personal volume level. The supplied earphones are not very good, but they work.

Great little pocket radio
This is a great little pocket radio with all the features needed for carrying it around in your pocket. Tunes in AM/FM bands with many presets for favorite stations. Has alarm and sleep functions. The best thing about this radio is it has a lock buttons feature which allows you to put in in your pocket or carry it around and you wont accidentally change the station or the volume level. The last one of these I ordered came with bad audio. They were very understanding and helpful of my problem and quickly shipped me a new radio. I am very happy with the radio and the return service.

Battery life is nonexistent.
I bought this thinking it was the same as an old radio I used to use. My old radio would last for days without changing the batteries even when left at higher volumes. I would let it play in the background 24/7 at home, even when I wasn't there. This one literally last hours at best before it starts cutting out and then the batteries die in well less than 24 hours, no matter what volume. Do not buy this cheap POS.

Eats batteries
Good sound and all but it goes through batteries at an alarming rate (at least mine did). So do not recommend
