Works as expected not issues with random shut downs.
First thing I will say is to check if this device is even compatible with what you want it to power. This device is great for powering up devices. I no longer have that extra clutter for power to my devices. The injector does a good job with powering my device. I had no issues with devices shutting off or having poor connection. In my case, I was able to power my access point in my house without needing to run that extra wire for power. I used a cisco access point and it works great. I am unsure how well it works for other brands. It is about the size of a laptop brick. It has a status LED light and does not require any setup other than plug it in. The device does get a little warm and is scratch prone but it does the job. It makes it easier to keep your cables from being overly cluttered while providing power to your device. This did just come in a simple plastic bag rather than box. It does come with everything but the ethernet cables so be aware of that. You will need to purchase that separately. Overall this is a good device to have, it is easy to setup, and it reduces my need for that extra power port for my access point.

A very helpful device
This Cisco Business Power Over Ethernet Injector was designed to provide an alternative to external DC power. This device is compatible with Cisco Business Wireless 100 Series and 200 Series access points (CBW140AC-B, CBW240AC-B, and CBW145AC-B) and guarantees 15-watts of power output. What I liked most about this Cisco Business Power Over Ethernet Injector was:- Usefulness- Compatibility- PerformanceWhat I liked least about this Cisco Business Power Over Ethernet Injector was:- The product description videos. They're absolutely unrelated to this device.Overall, if you need to get APs installed inside a structure that demands some flexibility this Cisco Business Power Over Ethernet Injector should come in handy for your compatible devices. As long as you enter this purchase with a specific goal in mind and have compatible Cisco products it should work fine. Just do yourself a favor and skip the videos. 5.0 out of 5.0

Works great.
I have a Cisco CBS250-24P-4G PoE switch that I use for my primary security network. But I like to have the option to hook a PoE camera straight to my modem, and since my modem doesn't have PoE capability, this lets me connect a PoE camera to my non-PoE modem (also a router) so I can have 2 separate cam networks. Works perfectly well.

Great POE Injector
I have a couple of cisco devices that could benefit from POE injection, this one fit the bill perfectly with the level of power that it outputs for some of my heavier use Aruba Wireless APs.The great thing about these is you can just put it right in your DEMARC and then run a nice long run of Cat5e/6 to your endpoint equipment and fire it right up. Great to have and good quality!

POE injector for Cisco CBW140AC-B
If youre not running POE on your network and want to install a POE device such as the 140AC-B AP then you will need this injector that plugs into any 110v AC outlet. 15 watts of power is guaranteed. Pretty straight forward to plug in and can be easily zip tied if you are performing a wall or ceiling mount. Works as stated.

Designed by Cisco, for Cisco, and it Works
This PoE injector is designed to work with Cisco wireless access points, and I used it to provide power to a CBW140AC access point. It was dead simple to connect (just be sure you have the “switch” port running back to your switch (or router/switch) and your “AP” port connected to your access point). Plug in the power, and you’re good to go.The device accepted the connection and is running now just as designed. There are any number of PoE injectors or PoE switches available. This one was designed with the power needs of these Cisco access points in mind. So if you don’t mind paying for that security, these will serve you well.

Used for CISCO Access point
Needed to hook up a Cisco access point that needed power using POE. Wanted to make sure it was going to work, so used this Cisco injector. Provided power to the AP easily.
