Great Option for garages or any dark room or space and excellent customer service to back it up
I have the typical two car garage in a very old home. The garage was wired as probably built way back when which at the most allowed me to put three fluorescent shop lights to light up the entire garage including areas for the washer, dryer and work bench. For years I tried different lighting approaches including in recent years, individual screw in LED bulbs none of which did not provide satisfactory lighting. Until just recently LED technology has come to the point that there are now options at a reasonable cost to make the endeavor worth while. I finally took the plunge to try the new LED lighting shop lights and looking at now the many options I choose the Freelicht 10 Pack Linkable LED Utility Shop Light. I choose these as they included all of the mounting hardware and wiring to daisy-chain (links) several lights together since I only have two switched outlets to use. When the products arrived the box was a bit damaged by the freight carrier, I contacted Freelicht about this and they immediately sent me a replacement, no questions asked, now that is customer support that stands behind their products which makes me more confident in their products. Installation was easy with the included mounting hardware, I pre-drilled holes for the screws and had all 10 shop lights installed quickly. The ability to daisy-chain the lights was perfect for me as it allowed me to look at different installation points to best get the lighting I wanted. I was able to place lighting now above my workbench, washer dryer, sink and the overall garage area so now my entire garage is well lit. Where before my garage was dark and difficult to do anything in, it is now as bright as a showroom which unfortunately exposed how messy my garage really was meaning the next step was a clean-up/organization since the lights now expose everything ;-). I'm also glad to get rid of my older shop lights with the fluorescent lights, failing and replacing light ballasts and the difficultly of disposing the fluorescent bulbs as the garbage services in my area will not take them (where are we supposed to dispose of these?). Overall I am very please with these lights and the value/cost of them. So far they are working flicker freeand use less energy including saving the environment from the disposal of the fluorescent bulbs and ballasts. Finally the customer service was excellent so my experience has been very good and I will be buying more for my kitchen and my outdoor shed. I recommend considering these as you look this type of product and solution.

EXCELLENT Price. Bright and easy to install/link
I do a lot of DIY work in the garage and it's imperative to have excellent lighting -- especially when you are cutting things! In the past, I had purchased light bars from two manufacturers: Sunco ($28 ea) and Goolsun ($50 ea). The latter was a mistake: not only did it cost twice as much as the Sunco, it also was not much better. LED technology is quite similar across the spectrum in that they last long, take little energy, and can be very bright. Generally, I like Daylight-equivalent, 5000 Kelvin (K) temperature bulbs with at least 40W and 4100 Lumen of output. What I looked for were shop lights that could be linked with one another without having to snake and fish electrical wires around to add additional outlets throughout the garage. Most I had researched could only link up to 4, but just having 2 mounted from the ceiling in a two-car garage would have been plenty bright... a 3rd mounted horizontally on the wall completed the look. All in all, it had cost me $110 for three light bars. Then came remodeling projects for my parents' new home and my youngest brother's who recently got married. I looked around to see what newer light bars are available nowadays, and although Sunco still is my favorite, the Freelicht caught my attention: 10 for $150? That comes down to just $15 EACH! I went ahead and bought it.The specifications between the Freelicht and Sunco are nearly the same: 40W, 5000K, and 4000 lumen. Both can be mounted from the ceiling in a flush or chain-hung style, but there was one major difference: whereas the Sunco could be turned on/off by pull chain, the Freelicht would be by a switch. The switch would be more reliable and long-lasting, but would be harder to reach if mounted well up on the ceiling. When the Freelicht arrived, I was surprised (and not surprised) at its brightness. It gives out a good amount of light. It, too, could be linked with up to 4 lights in a daisy-chain: turn one on, and the other 3 could too. Plug the main one to a light switch or a smart plug. With all of these LED lights, there is no flicker, and with the inexpensive pricing, I have a few more to spare for far less than I had paid for the Sunco. In fact, I use one of them as a shop light to illuminate the bottom of my car for oil changes.Good purchase and great value overall.
